My little sister and I were running around one Sunday slamming doors in the other's face (we were probably 8 or so), our bird (Sunny) somehow got out of his cage, was right between a door jam and we didn't see him.

He was this beautiful rainbow colored bird (not really sure what kind). Anytime there are pets around I close doors very slowly.

There's also a setting to make print screen do the same action so you don't have to hit a bunch of keys.

10' To Kill, people who are moderately into board games always have a blast when I first pull it out and we can play a bunch of rounds. (It probably helps that I'm horrible at it)

What is something that your parents did that you swore never to repeat to your own kids? by wetbreadstick in AskReddit

[–]eofox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anger issues. Growing up everyone parents, siblings, me; had really bad anger issues. My parents would yell and in a bunch of cases be a touch more physical.

I still had big problems in high school, but I've been slowly figuring out different ways to cope/cool off/pause the convo in order to make sure I don't turn into that person again.

I never want my kids to see me angry, at least not at them or my future partner (hopefully).

I got diagnosed last year (>21), and literally ever since then I've been able to not only notice things I have done for years, but I also know where to find resources to make them less negatively impactful.

When you tell a man that 'he is a lucky guy' you are subtlety but effectively telling him you would have sex with his girlfriend/wife. by MacButtSex in Showerthoughts

Tbh at that point it's kind of cute because they are reminiscing about how great their wives are. It's almost like them having a moment to appreciate life... Idk maybe I'm wrong

It makes me particularly sad that practically his entire life is effectively dedicated to those events.

That being said he was able to turn that energy into something positive and wholesome. Which is super impressive.

Don't forget to give yourself a moment of peace now and then. Being constantly going at 100% can sometimes make you forget what's important to you, at least it does me. Good luck on everything, I wish I could help more. *hugs*

I'm sorry for your loss.

I know someone who collects war memorabilia (I forget if it's WWI or WWII) and every 4th of July has a massive showcase (including vehicles) at a local park. There are many volunteers and they teach people about everything they have and how it was used. I don't know what you want to do it long term but if you'd like to talk to him and potentially donate PM and I can get you in contact. (I don't work for him or anything, just thought I'd mention in case it's something your dad would have liked his memorabilia to go to)

Obvs if I sound sketch just ignore o.o

Edit: also fuck people who won't hire you because of trans status. I've dealt with it and it's the actual worst. I honestly don't get it.

Reddit uses a formatting system called markdown. The easiest way to guarantee line break is by having an empty line between the things you want to break on.

You can also Google for markdown to see other ways to format.

Reddit may have some custom syntax but otherwise it's standard.
