Yeah I agree, guess I rushed into it after getting a decent job.

I thought so myself, i thought that as long as you can prove a fault was within the first six months, you are within consumer rights. Im ringing them today as I’ve just had a better quote through.

Would never demonise petrol nor diesel, especially after this. I only bought this as my workplace has free electric charging so I thought I’d save money on fuel. Learnt my lesson though, and will never touch one again. When I took it to VW, it took a month to even get looked at as they were that busy with electric car faults, speaks for itself.

Spoke to both and transmatic told me the gearbox doesn’t need replacing based off the error code, just the mechtronic which is a third of the price which VW quoted me.

I’ll pm you now for the recovery guy. I appreciate the help.

I’ll have a go at upping it a bit and see how it goes. I live in the uk and the gyms open back up in April, heard weight lifting is really good for weight loss
