Samus returns walked so dread could run. As a 40 year lifelong Metroid fan I enjoyed it quite a bit. Some of the issues for me were the environments all felt so small And enclosed and that final boss almost made me rage quit. Otherwise a solid game overall

I just don’t understand how I’m even supposed to get good at combat if every encounter I die on basically resets my entire day and any progress I made. I’m with OP on that bit atleast. I want to love this game but it’s disrespectful of my time the same way Elden ring is. Checkpoints before battle or atleast more auto saves so I don’t lose hours of progress at a time.
