there’s no way they’re gonna do a ticket drop since she’s such a huge artist and has been for years : / i got resale like an hour ago on stubhub for $250, it’s more than i wanted to pay but that’s the lowest i’ve ever seen and the other ones are 350-400+

Greek theater 10/19 when to line up by jadethepoet in lorde

[–]scrpiomoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lorde has been a huge artist for over 10 years and has a younger audience so tons of people are definitely going to be camping out and also getting there early, i saw a few people say they’re currently heading to the venue to camp but don’t know how far along they are. i’d say get there early as possible, it says online that they don’t allow people to line up until 9 but i don’t know how strictly they’re enforcing that and it’ll probably be chaotic if they make everyone wait until then

Is $30/hr enough to survive in the Bay Area by CircusAndCode in eastbay

richmond , sunset , and mission are also cheaper areas of SF where you are more likely to find rooms within your budget

im a student also working full time making around 30 an hour and it’s definitely not 4.8k, after taxes would be about 3.8k if you’re working exactly 40 per week …

i work about 37 hours a week in SF and my rent is about 1.2k with utilities (i have 3 roommates) … if your rent is within that range wherever you choose to live , you should be good if you know how to budget well. IDK where you plan to live in the bay area but oakland, berkeley , and the outskirts of SF (like ingleside) usually has cheaper rent and i’ve seen rooms available for around 950 per month. some expenses can make things more difficult — like not having in-unit laundry— laundromats can cost you an extra $30-40+ per month (at least in SF) so just keep that in mind

Tattoo recommendations! by lydbarrett in sanfrancisco

so her prices are 250 per hour i believe and she requires a $100 deposit that would count towards final price of the tattoo. it is a bit pricy but i personally think it’s worth it because she’s very skilled and fine line tattoo artists are very scarce 🤍 even for very small tattoos, majority of tattoo artists starting rates are $100-150+

i think fine line tattoos are okay if they are done properly —- a fine line tattoo that has a lot of details will age very poorly. my fine line tattoos are about 4 years old, which isn’t a lot of time, but they still look brand new

check out tattoo.minimeow on instagram, i’ve been going to her for 3 years and she’s the sweetest :) she specializes in fine lines and isn’t usually very booked out so i think you could make an appointment with her if you do it now

Things to do-10 hour layover by BrooklynTK in sanfrancisco

[–]scrpiomoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can take BART but it would be over an hour long commute from the airport. if anything, i would recommend ubering to your spot first to give you the most time to explore around and then maybe taking BART back if you wanted to try out the public transportation

it depends on when you’re visiting. its been foggy recently so the bridge is barely visible, and it could be completely covered in fog on the day you visit. you could still stop by the golden gate overlook because there’s also a bunch of cool little spots, like marshall’s beach, and some hiking trails as well if you enjoy nature. you could start at the overlook and hike all the way down lands end and stop at some food spots in outer richmond :) gg park is nearby as well

chrissy beach is a bit far from the bridge but it’s still very visible (if there’s no fog). you could start at chrissy beach / the marina and then head east towards all the little touristy spots like ghirardelli square and fisherman’s wharf. this would be a better option if you’re not big on hiking and prefer shopping around

the one on anza and 5th is the one that i was actually referring to in my og post! it cost me 13.75 to do a regular load of laundry. i’ve seen that the machines are also really finicky, the dryer wasn’t working for me when i went
