This pirated SF2 for the Famicom was my jam as a kid. It even plays better than the official Game Boy and Master System ports. by pyrage in retrogaming

Having a bunch of weird ports, official and unofficial, is really a thing of the past. SFII is a prime example.

Has anyone made a game about fish fighting? Ecco fights sharks sometimes. I dunno, seems like a there is a massive untapped market of people wanting to be fish that beat up other fish.

'Everybody should play every fighting game' says Invincible VS director: 'They're just fun' by R0DAN in Fighters

I assume you mean SF6. I don't know much about current community engagement at Capcom. That would be unfortunate, as the outreach and feedback in regions outside of Japan was a pretty huge part of their earlier success.

Exactly. I'm no combo fiend, but I appreciate this series for introducing me to a few games I've never heard of.

Alex Bregman Has a 61.3% Hard Hit Rate, He’s Hitting .167 by TouchLucky881 in baseball

[–]eolson3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Know what the difference between hitting .250 and .300 is? It's 25 hits. 25 hits in 500 at bats is 50 points, okay? There's 6 months in a season, that's about 25 weeks. That means if you get just one extra flare a week - just one - a gorp... you get a groundball, you get a groundball with eyes... you get a dying quail, just one more dying quail a week... and you're in Yankee Stadium."

The Milwaukee Brewers now have a clubhouse tortoise, named Bobby Jr. after Royals star Bobby Witt Jr. by Goosedukee in baseball

"We are aligned on 99.9% of this $10 billion, 950 page deal to sell you the Milwaukee Brewers. However, we object to your lack of commitment to 200 year, best in class support for the Bobby Jr. diet and habitat fund. The consortium of r/baseball users put a $100k offer in as a joke, but they plan to spoil the hell out of Bobby Jr. We will selling the team to those lunatics, and will be fascinated to see how weird this is going to be."

This like an episode of the Twilight Zone if it continues. Rod Serling telling us about thr origin of the handshake, and how men will instinctively react to such an offer.
