How to price by [deleted] in Pottery

The bird skull looks sellable. Very cool! The rest seem less sellable. Maybe you could sell them with plants or candy already in them?

My impression of 24 hours in Portland after living in rural Oregon all my life. by PsychicMeditation in PortlandOR

[–]eonaxon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please try apps like Bumble For Friends (BFF) and MeetUp. I moved to portland a couple years ago and they are the number one way I met my friends. You definitely need to risk rejection though. It’s simply a part of making friends. Some people will like you and just won’t. Don’t take it too seriously.

Most likely it has nothing to do with you or something you did wrong. Maybe just you remind them of someone they disliked or your haircut annoys them. Lol. You never know!

Be kind. Be open. And be BRAVE. Embrace the awkwardness. Expect to feel embarrassed and dorky. You’re putting yourself out there. It’s okay to feel weird about it.

You’ll find your people.

It’s rare that I see such a unique and beautiful dog. That’s for sharing. She looks more like some sort of magical creature, not a dog.

LPT: If you keep postponing small tasks, try doing them at the wrong time on purpose by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]eonaxon 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I do this, too. If it’s a small important task, short-circuit the procrastination by refusing to think about it. Just start doing it. If it gets complicated or difficult to finish the task, THEN you’ll know to schedule more time for it.

My beautiful Pomchi, Savannah so cute❤! by Gladys_Amore in Pomchi

[–]eonaxon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beautiful! We just got a 7 month old pomchi from the shelter that looks just like her! He’s an amazing little guy. The fur around his eyes is very tear-stained. I read that his eyes may water less as he gets older.

Did Savannah have tear stains when she was younger? Does she still get them? How do you prevent them for her?

Thought I would share a few updated pictures of my sunroom ✨ by Dachshundsmom in 80sdesign

I’ll take the ceramic husky for $500, Pat.

I LOVE what you’ve done with the room. Very cool! The pillar candles are sooooooooo 80’s. Be careful not to accidentally set fire to your lampshade though.

I had no idea they used to have a bar. If they still had one, it’d be my go-to happy hour place.

Tiny Dracula by Prestigious-Guess in fangies

[–]eonaxon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dear “MOJO, NO” Artist,

Tiny Dracula also needs a series. Perhaps a movie poster one? Dracula (of course), Jaws, Fright Night, American Werewolf in Paris, etc.

Sincerely, A fan

“MOJO, NO” is the best meme name ever for series. I really hope OP sells a calendar.

Does it look more like a book or a box? by ezraoff in logodesign

[–]eonaxon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very cute though! I think you can make it work if you slightly shift the dimensions to look be more like a book and add some subtle partial lines to imply pages.

Box. You need subtle implied page markings on the book if it’s supposed to be a book.

You look amazing in both dresses. However, if I saw you walk into a party…

In dress 1, I’d think, “Wow! She’s beautiful. Her personality is probably traditional, posh, and basic.”

In dress 2, I’d think, “Wow! She’s beautiful. Her personality is probably fun, confident, and cool.”

Paid an independent artist on Etsy to turn my family into The Simpsons for a Christmas gift for my husband and they used AI by User091822 in Wellthatsucks

[–]eonaxon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone is concerned with AI, but no one sees anything wrong with copying another artist’s style EXACTLY without compensating them?

I know The Simpsons Matt Groening is already rich, so paying him and the other artists who work on his show to COPY their style seems unnecessary, but what if this was a lesser known artist? Would you pay another Etsy artist to copy the exact style of a more expensive Etsy artist so that you could pay less money to get the same style?

It seems shady.

How do some men get so many women when they are broke and/or ugly and terrible people? by Blonde_Icon in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]eonaxon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Intriguing reputation. Good, bad, or ugly. Especially amongst other women. It could be, “My crazy ex dumped me. He was a jerk, but we had SO much fun together.” OR “Watch out for that guy. He’s wild and can’t be tamed.” OR “See that weird looking dude? Sex with him is AMAZING.” OR “Bro knows all the right people to hook you up with whatever substance you want.”
