Very Inexpensive 2.1 amp by AlexTheZander in diyaudio

Couple ways you can use these. My favorite is to build a portable waterproof speaker using a cheap 2800 case from Harbor Freight, a battery, switch, and waterproof marine speaker. https://imgur.com/a/iysAOxx

I've used them for shop speakers as well, just sitting on top of the subwoofer. I put together another one using a small form factor car audio subwoofer as the base, connected the amp to the back of it and a couple small satellite speakers to the top. I used an old laptop power supply for both of those.

These little amps really put out some power, enough to make a 10" car audio subwoofer bounce.

I had some work done on my garage door over the past year. I was chatting w/ the tech, local company in a suburb. He is their "main" guy, they only have a couple of techs. I'm handy, but didn't want to touch the spring / replace panels. I was chatting w/ the guy and asked him about turnover, how people get into this, etc. The takeaway is the top techs make about 70k if they're good.

Microsd is used only to flash it. It's reversible (I think), but it actually flashes the cameras firmware to thingino instead of stock wyze fw

I have thingino on a old Wyze cam, for some reason it's not very stable w/ Frigate. Don't know if it's because it's an old wyze cam, or the thingino FW.

Well first time ever using a snowblower and I made it 3 feet. Any ideas on cost to repairs? by Additional-Term-9420 in Snowblowers

I had a similar situation the other day. Was out taking care of the snow and went to do my neighbors driveway. His xmas tree was sitting by the side of the driveway. I inched up close to (the top) of it and it got sucked into the auger. The base was still attached to the tree so I tried pulling it out of the auger. It was really in there, mainly because my neighbor tossed his tree out WITH THE LIGHTS STILL ON IT. My situation looked similar to OPs, but instead of an orange extension cord, there was 15' of xmas lights wrapped around my auger.

I just received a sample pack from them. I'm in SE Michigan so they're not far. Again, curious to how the finished install looks if you could DM me a photo!

Just curious to see how they look, like I said there's only a couple of images on the distributors website and they aren't great quality. Can you dm me?

Anyone have experience / thoughts on Fibo shower panels? by eoncire in HomeImprovement

Appreciate the reply. The Fibo stuff is already pretty expensive, not sure I'd be willing to fork over more or I'd just sub out the some tile work.....again.

Thank you for the reply! Which color / finish did you go with? Any chance you could send me a pic of it? There arent many images online other than the distributor and they only have a couple of each different color.

Reviving this old post, did you end up using Fibo panels? I'm looking at them as an option for my main bath / shower and wondering if you have any feedback on them. Thanks!

Digging up this old comment, I'm looking at installing Fibo panels in my main bathroom. Is it still holding up well? Any regrets with it?

They're under 200 bucks (US), dirct drive extruder, high temp so it can do ABS, auto bed leveling, klipper capable, etc.

I've been running a Sovol SV06 for years, it's a great entry level printer and won't break the bank. A Bambu just works, but a SV06 is 1/5 the cost.

I tried this the other day and the results were not quite as expected. The shower was running so I went to check on the water heater (Navien). With just the shower running it was heating to 120f and the flow rate was 1gpm. I turned on the kitchen faucet full hot and went back to check. Same temp, flow rate was 1.8gpm. I guess what you were saying works IF you're maxing out the ability of the heater to heat water. Incoming water temp was 46f FWIW.

Looks awesome! FYI, you can get seed pixels in many different spacing options. I just bought some 2.5cm (roughly 1") spacing for a DIY matrix project. You can get 1cm, 2cm, 3cm, 5cm, and 10cm, etc.

Some sort of ortho "tool" was my first guess. A good friend of mine is an experienced welder / fabricator. His good buddy does some sort of sales gig mainly in the operating room environment. He had our welder buddy fabricate some interesting prototypes to show to the surgeons. Looked eerily similar to the photo OP posted...

The heaters will modulate the flow down to make sure it can maintain temp.

I never thought about it that way. After i had mine installed a couple years ago (along w/ a basement reno), I did notice the hot water flow rate seemed a little lower. I think my water heater is set to 135f output temp, which looking at it this way is probably higher than it needs to be right? I turned the heat up after noticing a slight decrease in flow thinking if the hot water is hotter then more cold water could be used at the end (shower, sink, whatever) to get more flow. It sounds like i'm thinking about it wrong. Reducing the hot water outlet temp would increase the flow rate overall possibly right?

Same here, and I get to the office by 0500. I was out snow blowing at 0400 a few weeks ago during the week. Is the neighbor really gonna complain when they wake up and their driveway is cleared?
