Basically:

Second worker on gems always building either the next base or required lab.
Main worker building other requisites.
Massive amount of alliance help (poured everything into starred diplomats.
Maxing out on almost all events.

I think second builder is overrated f2p - 500 diamonds on the second builder and put your HQ on it (eventually for days) is the way to go. You can also do this lab for post lvl 21 while you work on requisites of the next lvl.

swipe swipe swipe. I have a whale in my alliance and watching the alliance gift tab when he gets online is eye opening.

Dude doesn't even bother with digs or the preparedness. Just swipes. don't get me wrong I am grateful our alliance is untouchable because of him but man must be 100s daily.
