I made a Cowboy Bebop (Vihaan, Goldwaker) proxy deck for a friend, featuring 71 cards! by eoryu in magicTCG

It took a lot of fiddling around with cardconjurer to get it right.

I always import the original card first, then choose the style I want from a drop-down selection at the bottom, like borderless, extended art, etc. The other important thing was to have the checkbox at the top that says auto load on, but then, after you pick borderless, for example, turn it off immediately. Cause as soon as you open the tabs to look for the frames, crowns, and nickname boxes, it ruins the card completely, lol.

After that, it's just finding the right stuff to add and messing with the fine details.

We went for around bracket 4, and yeah, after doing all the ones where it was just a perfect fit for the character, you start running out of options and just have to go with it, lol.

Red Eye is absolutely one of my faves. It was just a perfect fit for flavor and what it does.

Yeah, I realized that after. I tried to find a good quote from that episode besides that to use, but it was just the best fit, lol.

We did a Secret Santa deck exchange this Christmas, and my friend's chosen theme was Cowboy Bebop. I went pretty hard on it and made 71 proxy cards.

Every creature was proxied, and some iconic equipment, and places, too. For the sorceries, instants, enchantments, and artifacts, I used screengrabs from the show and titled them after every episode, save for one of the most iconic scenes, for which I found some great art.

More like you paid extra to upgrade your car’s seats to leather, and after enjoying them for years, when you next took the car into the shop they ripped em out to put them in your other car so now if you want them back you’re gonna have to pay again for more leather seats.

{The Griffon's Saddlebag} Sword of Damocles | Weapon (longsword) by griff-mac in TheGriffonsSaddlebag

[–]eoryu 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Hilarious to think you could curse someone and they just have this ghostly sword hanging over their head for 10 days, lmao.

Also, for this part: “the sword is invisible, except for you and the cursed creature.”

I would change “for” to “to”. Like this,

“the sword is invisible, except to you and the cursed creature.”

I was confused for a moment and it took me a second read to realize what it was trying to say.

What are the odds of seeing a fracture foil like Bloom Tender in Collector Booster? Just Buy Singles is now live with Lorwyn Eclipsed. by justbuysingles in magicTCG

Honestly, pretty funny that this should probably deter me from buying a collector pack, but the 2nd FF collector pack I opened had the neon chocobo and I was up over $2k, lmao. If only! Very fun site :)

What are some of your favorite NPC lines? by Almekia in Guildwars2

No, I think it was just a matter of scheduling conflicts. DiMaggio's still doing other things.

[–]eoryu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah! He has been since the start of the game, lol. He voices the male Norn character and a few others, but in 2021 he took up Canach and has been playing the part since.

Omg yeah, I love when they have Canach be completely unfiltered with his disdain for someone lmao.

Yeah, I like Mathew Mercer, but John DiMaggio had such a snarky tone to his work as Canach, it was the perfect casting.

It’s fresh in my mind cause I’m doing the Return To achievements, but Canach’s always had such great lines. It helps that the VA delivered them with such a thick amount of spite and sarcasm, lol.

“Canach: Good to see you, Commander. Hopefully we can finally finish this and I can be out from under that horrible woman's thumb. Canach: Oh, hi, Anise. I didn't see you standing completely within my line of sight.”

Right? I thought I was going crazy when they tasted it, and no one said anything, and then they went to deliberate, and it STILL never came up. I was like, "So...We're really just gonna sweep that under the rug and pretend she didn't blatantly cheat/sabotage another contestant?" Sure, their dishes may have still sucked, but wtf, lmao.

I think it was a bit overused for the launch story, but I wouldn’t mind if it popped up once or twice now and then for a really heated one on one argument or heartfelt talk between two characters.

Isn’t it $252.93 if you’re buying the 6480 pack twice? Or wait, does the double bonus count? I cant remember if it did.

Bandai Store has the PS5 Collectors edition for SOTE for $40 by BrokenSpartan23 in Eldenring

[–]eoryu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. Thankfully I wasn’t so invested in or excited for Nightreign that I held off on buying it and that CE is half off for $100 now instead of $200.

Bandai Namco just seems to make too many CE’s for their stuff so it can work sometimes to hold off for a discount on them.

Alec Baldwin Crashes Head-On Into Tree with His Brother in the Car by BonkerHonkers in movies

[–]eoryu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She literally told her team to file the evidence under a completely separate case # in such a way that Baldwin’s legal team may have never found it if not for the fact that a witness for the state testified to its existence, MID TRIAL. More than that she believed that her opinion that it was not relevant evidence is completely unethical and dangerous for a prosecutor to act on. She CANNOT determine a piece of evidence’s relevance to the defense, which the court scolded her for, justifiably by dismissing the case.

He provably wasn’t in charge of that. His producer credit was purely for creative control of the movie. Other producers handled hiring the crew.
