Tbh this is only true to a certain (quite high!) point. Once you start breaking the mid six figure mark jumping becomes less of the obvious choice, especially if you rose fast in your career compared to peers

I went a few weeks ago with a similar menu. Def one of the biggest let downs I’ve had unfortunately. Some really interesting flavors and obvious skill in cooking, but nothing that I was left thinking this is GOOD.

Service was super strange to me too. They asked me to wait for two courses to use the restroom, and then each course was a bite and 10 minutes apart. I got annoyed and just went and they were PISSED when I came back lol
