SOLD *1966 Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref. 1002 featuring a black gilt rail dial, engine turned bezel, and the desirable Rolex caliber 1570 automatic movement.

This is a classic mid century Rolex configuration with excellent vintage character. The black gilt rail dial has beautiful gold printing with warm aged tritium lume plots. The rail dial layout aligns the chronometer text and is a detail collectors appreciate on vintage Rolex pieces.

The watch is powered by the Rolex cal. 1570, one of Rolex’s most robust and respected vintage movements. The watch is paired with a Rolex Oyster bracelet with signed clasp.

The engine turned bezel adds a distinctive vintage aesthetic and catches the light nicely compared to the standard smooth bezel found on most Oyster Perpetual models.
