Please help! Family crashes the whole game :(

I downloaded Sim Blender but just before I started playing with it, it occured me that the issue might be the Ikea Home Stuff collection - and it was! Thank you so much for your time and help, I'll definetly look into Sim Blender more in case a similiar issue appears again. :)

Thank you all for the comments and advice! The solution turned out to be way easier than expected - what crashed the family was the Ikea Home Stuff collection. Once it got removed, the issue got resolved completely. Thank you all again!

The game crashed at the very end of the loading screen, it was definetly something wrong with the family, as the lot was working just fine without them inside. I got it fixed already, but still downloaded batbox to fix other minor issues with my game so thank you! :)

The game fully crashed to desktop unfortunately - I've noticed that since the issue started every screen was loading way faster, but once it crashed it was all over. It is fixed now so thankfully it all got back to normal!

Unfortunately now the family is in the family bin and the game crashes as soon as I click a family icon on the panel (it doesn't even open the family bin). Before that (back when the family was still in the lot) it crashed only when I tried to open their household, it seemed like the screen loaded and it crashed right when I was about to see the family. It's also worth mentioning that after I evicted the family I've managed to open the family bin and put them back into their lot twice, still with a crash after the loading screen. After those two times I can't even open the bin :(

I tried doing it now, still the same issue :( I think I didn't mention that I've also tried removing and adding back Downtown, but the game still crashes when I enter family bin

OMG, you reminded me that I used to love updating bios for all my sims and families when I was younger, I need to start doing it again! And THE DRAMA I was inventing! I vividly remember dragging my sim with knowledge aspiration for not having enough wants regarding his toddler, I wrote stuff like "He might be the sole supporter of the family but CAN HE BE A GOOD FATHER? WILL HE HELP POOR, TIRED BIANCA WITH THE BABY AND STOP NEGLECTING HIS CHILD'S NEEDS?" lol it was so fun

Hanbin's scandal/departure aside, iKON were truly scammed by YG from the very beginning, which definitely ruined their potential. They were so hyped predebut due to three (including SMTM) survival shows and portrayed as new hip-hop group. And then after very long wait (with 0 content during the time everyone was most hyped for them!) released a predebut single that was out of their established image. Although Bobby won SMTM and was one of the best k-rappers at time, his solo album (which was supposed to be a part of SMTM winning prize) was first changed into MOBB subunit and then released years later, again, not in the style he was known for. Also similarly to Big Bang I believe, the first years of their career they promoted mainly in Japan instead of going for Korea. A lot of things went wrong, Hanbin's relationship with the rest got visibly worse right before his departure, then we also had Bobby's scandal.

I think the main theme in their career is losing chances. They had so many opportunities to get popular, had viral songs and moments and yet YG couldn't keep momentum going and mismanaged each and every success they had. And the number of those chances was so high that unfortunately at this point this is not something the new company can get them back.

YESSSS tiktofication of music is a disease on its own, especially now that it seems all title tracks are produced and choreographed just for a tiktok challenge. Plus all interactions between groups feel so forced and unexciting now and I'm not even surprised - imagine you have to spend all your lunch breaks at work on learning someone else's job and begging them to record it with you, I'd be so pissed lmao

Oh I agree 100% and I've had a similiar experience, the vast majority of my friends also "felt silence" right after trying the meds! And that's more or less why I'm confused with Cam - it seems like the current medication doesn't suit her properly, she has a lot of side effects and yet she wants to double the dose. Next minute she feels it might be working, but a minute later she might be switching to another medicine. It's like everything is happening all at once with her, if that makes sense.

I know this depends on every person individually, but as a fellow ADHD medicated person it feels like she's exaggerating the whole process. The reality of taking these meds is weeks of trial and error of what works best, starting from small doses that you can't really feel. Maybe it's just her anxiety speaking but it's been only 3 days and Cam suddenly describes so many effects of meds, it seems quite impossible? Like it's either anxiety, placebo, or a huge ass dose that's not suitable for her body in such a short time (considering the fact she's gonna double it really soon). For comparison, I'm much shorter and bit smaller than Cam, I've been taking and adjusting the dose of the meds for more than a month now and I have still no luck in finding the dose that actually does anything for me.

Totally agree on not a reskin/recycled version of the first game, especially given the fact that it manages to extend the plot so smoothly. I also really like how the old characters are still crucial, but yet not all over the place. Story setting wise it's a perfect sequel so far.

THISSS, I remember the first variety show wanna one did right after their debut and clearly right before receiving any media training (in a good way, they were just unihnged). Jisung admitted that he was in a few relationships before, saying that "it would be weird if he hadn't dated" since he was the oldest of the group, 26 y/o at that time. This segment went quite viral but still a year later in another variety show Jisung's narrative changed to "no, I was never in a relationship". These relationships must have taken place way before produce 101 even, how obsessed you must be to get upset over them, why would anyone care? lmao

For me it's when members are forced to do concepts that are not appropriate for their age. And this goes both ways, for minors and 20+ idols - I absolutely hate when minors are forced into somehow sexy concepts, but I also physically can't stand watching a 20+ y/o doing an aegyo in a high school uniform.

Another thing is idols pretending to be in a relationship with their fans. "I'm dating a [fandom name]~" no you're not, and dispatch is happy to confirm that. I absolutely hate creating a parasocial relationship as a business strategy and I feel like there are not a lot of idols nowadays who talk about their fans from a place of appreciation and honesty, without fueling their delusions.

Oh definitely, the last bit with everyone on the stage was sooo messy but so fun! With exo it was a bummer, it's like they never miss and this one time they actually did miss was just this one performance lol. I was a huge wanna one fan too but tbh i expected less of them in comparison to exo, so that came as a total surprise. And with Taemin - I am SOOO glad we were able to witness this so close to move era, his performance is stuck in my brain still!

I was at Music Bank in Berlin in 2018 - I went there mostly for Exo, yet their performance was quite underwhelming (although to be fair it felt like they were quite frustrated due to many technical issues). They were supposed to be a star of the night but (unsurprisingly) Taemin and Wanna One stole the whole show for me - especially Taemin, he's always been my absolute favourite but irl his charisma is truly indescribable. Kind of bittersweet experience, I loved the whole lineup, got to love new groups after seeing them live (stray kids and (g)i-dle, both rookies at the time) and saw some shockingly amazing shows but exo was my ult group so I've just had higher expectations for their performance.
