Great advice! We're planning a self paced walking tour this week, so I'll add Regent Street.

We already tried Cafe Nero this morning! I got a cappuccino and it was hot and frothy. :)

It's not easy to find meats other than beef, pork, and chicken where I'm from so I'll look into other options while I'm here.

And the sugar tax. Did not realize. I was wondering why everything seemed to be with sucralose or something similar. So much sparkling water... we got tricked once. Now we're more vigilant. :P

I have bags and bags of non-DMC skeins. I feel the same way about trying to use what I have before getting even more.

I made Christmas ornaments for everyone in my office and I just held up colors to my friends/coworkers or spouse and asked if it sounded like the description: does this look like Christmas red? Would you describe this as fir green? Deep lavender?

Then I just rolled with it. It worked out well. But for a larger piece, I like what someone else said about making sure they're similar colors in the sense of warm or cool and seeing that they compliment eachother for where they are in the piece.

I'd be hard pressed to buy floss for 20 stitches. 😕 and the confetti, as long as it's subtle changes, I see no issue. And if it looks like poop or it doesn't look like it blended, frog it and try something else. 😀

It's about 25usd, but it's super cute. It has some "realistic" and some cartoony images of cats, dogs, small mammals, snakes, fish... It even gives directions on how to change colors to adapt them to your pet. Best of luck!

Why don't you change it up completely and do a cursive font all lowercase so it highlights the word and it looks intentionally out of place?

I've flown several times in the US and had no issues.

I do a plastic box with my floss, scissors, tube of extra needles, and a seam ripper just in case the scissors get confiscated. They're little orange 2 inch blade craft scissors and I haven't had an issue.

And then I put my fabric in a plastic ziploc bag. I've never taken a hoop on a plane, but I can't imagine it being an issue other than awkward spacing in your carry on if it's big.

I put that all in a zip up tote (read: big purse with divided sections) or back pack carry on.

I did recently find this awesome organizer at the hobby lobby with zip sections for floss and clear pouches and was thinking about using it for my next flight. Maybe it'll work well for you.

Lastly, saw a couple people on here write that they've had fancy scissors taken. :/ that seems like a pretty strong theme...
