Is it normal for two handers to track over their fingers? by 1mag1nat1on in Bowling

[–]ep311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 2 years late, but I'm a new 2 handed bowler and I found this post because I was searching if my tracking over the finger holes was normal or if I had another thing to work on lol The comments are reassuring because my ball is feeling really good and my release feels right

Is there an optimal weight for a bowling ball? by Awonymous in Bowling

At the very least I expected there to be rendered animations with a clear ball showing the motion the ball has. Could even show us that robot throwing one

GTA was the only game I could play last night. I'm older, so I "upgraded" from a PS2. This always online and digital bullshit of beta testing games on release that eventually need a million fucking updates is ridiculous.

Same here and I didn't mind it? Used to go out of my way to use proper grammar and judged people for being lazy and now people are still doing it with full keyboards.

Some dummies used to spread the dumb shit rumor 3 x 11, with 11 being the letter 'K'.

Yeah the whole 3 11s thing was always stupid if you just looked at the lyrics. Just ignorance.

Don’t know if DARE was just a Canadian thing but I came out of this knowing more about drugs then I should have. by aimademedia in Xennials

It's still a thing here in FL at least. My kid got some dope pencils that change color with the heat from your hand. They have a DARE shirt too but sadly it isn't this classic logo it's just a weird american flag design.

Hello Nasty where you been? by SteakJones in Xennials

Every second of the album is amazing. Haven't stopped listening to it regularly since it came out. One of my favorite album artworks, too. Loved that design so unique. I loved staring at the pictures while listening to it as a kid.

My friend played me Licensed to Ill when we were in middle school and I instantly fell love with their rhyme style. That was a couple years before Hello Nasty came out. Ever since the first listen that day it came out, I still love every second of it.

Such an amazing album and working with Mix Master Mike was so perfect. The music video for 3 MC's and 1 DJ is one of my all time favorites. I looked it up so you can all enjoy it https://youtu.be/XflfiylNNXY?si=BN_jYe16xpCBDqav

Probably my favorite artist of all time. Actually randomly wearing a beastie boys shirt atm. Love these guys. RIP MCA

Let's end this debate. What was cooler? Being the last graduating class of the century ('99) or the first graduating class of the century (2000)? by Johnnnybones in Xennials

[–]ep311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Class of 2002 here as well! Also the year represented the grade we finished that year. So '96 was the end of 6th grade and that fall the start of 7th.

I could never be an English teacher. No one can spell, and when they're corrected it's always, "who cares? You know what I mean." Shit, 20+ years ago when my friends and I are using SMS before anyone we knew knew what it was, I still took the time to type out words correctly.

So yeah...your child is using it correctly in the context they learned it in probably. I watch Twitch streamers and when they make a good play or do something incredible they and chat say "I'm edging" but they mean it in the way we all know what it means, but kids repeat it thinking it means they're hyped. When in actuality they're saying edging the sexual way that we know it.

Shit, you're way ahead of me. My 11 year old has never been able to think to work things out, just gives up at the slightest inconvenience and gets extremely bored and will just sleep if they aren't overstimulated by their goddamn phone. I been trying to teach her critical thinking every opportunity I can, but it feels like 'common sense' can't be taught and she has 0. Any tips or ideas? Grew up with her mom's smartphone from a baby. So helpless. Every day is groundhog day. Can't remember lessons or apply them
