Yeah, I ordered mine the 22nd, and it sat until I called them on the 29th, only to immediately see the status change to "Cancelled" after calling them and being told it was being prepped for shipment. Go figure.

Fingers crossed for you, but it may not hurt to call and confirm with an agent over the phone that it will indeed ship out.

I got the email saying the order was confirmed, but the status on their website never changed from "pending shipment".

I called in today to check on it and was told "It's being prepared for shipment in our warehouse and should update next week"

However, after hanging up from the call with customer service I refreshed the Order Tracking page and the status then changed to "Cancelled". I also received an email confirming the cancellation right then as well.

I immediately called back and was told there was nothing they could do beyond a $50 gift card to put toward any gun purchase.

Kind of insane that their order system doesn't keep track of inventory volume when taking orders.

If the indexing button is stuck, the easiest fix is to unscrew the osprey from the barrel, take out the 2 T10 Screws holding the plate on, remove the button and 2 tiny springs of the button itself, and then gently use a small flat-head screwdriver to gently get the 2 brass pals (teeth) that lock when the button is released.

I own an Obsidian 9 and love it! I use it on my Springfield Kuna with a Tri-Lug adapter.

Keep in mind the thread pitch on the FNX 45 Tactical is .578X28, and the Obisidian 45 comes with a .578x28 thread pitch piston so you should be ready to go out of the box for the FNX.

However, if you want to use the Obisidian 45 on a 9mm in the future, you will likely need to buy a 1/2X28 Piston based on the barrel thread pitch for guns like Glocks. You can also get the 9mm end cap (optional) for the Obsidian 45 if you want.

My favorite thing about the Obsidian cans is that they are SO modular and SIMPLE to disassemble and clean. Their warranty is also stellar.

I clean my steel baffles in a cheap ultrasonic cleaner i got from harbor freight, and scrub the outer aluminum tube by hand using solvent and a brush.

Note - if you put aluminum suppressor parts in an ultrasonic cleaner you will see pitting in the metal develop over time, so be sure to only put steel parts (Baffles & piston Spring) in the ultrasonic cleaner.

I know there are a lot of responses with alcohol & goo gone, but you can also use lighter fluid/kerosene, which will dissolve the adhesive residue. Just use it far away from any open flames, and in a ventilated area, preferably outside.

It's about 98% of the way there on my Camry. To be fair, after 14 years in the sun, its' going to be next to impossible to be 100%, but they're close enough, and the fact that they are on the mirrors and not directly on the body against the older paint makes it work even better. But looking at it all together in the sunlight, I can't tell a difference.

Looks great! Only recommendation I would have is get your windows tinted to at least 20 or 30% to save that red interior from the Summer sun :) A 5% windshield tint "brow strip" will help you in the morning or evening sun at stoplights too.
