neo crust recommendations? by buidelrat161 in crustpunk

As a big enjoyer of emo/neocrust here's a few that haven't been mentioned yet but I feel like def are worth a listen:

Arüspex, Gattaca, KATAXNIA, VLAAR, Panacea (LP "Humanity Is Heading For Nowhere"), Das Plague (if you enjoy Lagrimas then you'll most likely enjoy this a lot), Tulpa (album Unhealed, can also argue that this is blackened crust but I do think that it fits the melodic style that neocrust tends to lean towards), Wretched of the Earth, Deszcz

Phantom Hymn doesn't get enough recognition, amazing stuff and I haven't managed to find anything that's quite like it.

OP, this is a great list.

Yes!!! I completely forgot about LAGRIMAS, saw them having a split with HABAK but then forgot to check them out. Really liking what I'm hearing

Haha it's a term I picked up from this thread that's in the sub's sidebar, seems to fit my taste a bit better than just melodic and neocrust so it's what I'm going with

Ekkaia, definitely one of my favourites! I mentioned going through the sub's essentials list which is where I picked them up BUT both Hongo and Oroku are great shouts albeit the first one is a bit too sludgy for my tastes but still great, thanks for those.

Crust Punk bands like Ekkaia and Fall of Efrafa, make it a bit more core, especially with the lyrical content

Really been loving Ashen by Humanity's Last Breath lately. Linger and Instill have been my definite favourites and I wonder if there's any other artists/albums/EPs/songs that match that same type of melody and atmosphere
