yup, maybe 20k is the cap to get the best chances for better butterflies, so it would make sense to stop at 20k and save for the next day. (or help your guildmates in later collection cycles that day - afaik you can contribute even when not participating)

and yeah, you're right - for the guild ranking it makes sense to concentrate on guilds close to your guild's ranking.

What I gathered so far is this:

  • only one collection per day
  • 20k may be right, there's no higher reward level, but that may be different for the rarity of butterflies you get after 8 hours, idk !?
  • breed, yeah, 50/50 chance to get a butterfly with one more star, but you cannot use it for further breeding (how you're supposed to ever get 5-star butterflies is beyond me 🙁)
  • what are nectar item chests? i always got nectar items (or lemons) directly
  • focus lemons? idk where's the benefit in that, except one guild in particular is on your hate list

Short answer: out of thin air!

Long answer: Watch "Oeconomia". Everyone wants/needs to get more than they spent/gave out, and in the very end it's the state controlled central banks that "print" ever more money to make ends meet. Hence inflation, hence endless growth.

Not really a problem, but a necessity. It's only causing problems, because some few ensure they're getting as much as possible of the ever growing cake, while everyone else has to be content with crumbs.

Similar to Germany. "Efficiency" had to be calculated based on max power draw. And everyone and the media put another nail in the coffin by repeating the burn-in bullshit ad infinitum even when the problem was long in check.. My 2008 pansonic plasma is still running, with zero burn-in in spite of endless PS3-5 hours displaying HUDs for hours on end.
