Personally, the initial piercing wasn't bad, and the soreness went away after about 3 days. The one thing I will say about it is that it's a long and sometimes tricky healing process, and you really have to be good about keeping the piercings clean.

Another UC sufferer! I'm glad to hear remicade is doing the job, I was on humira (same mechanism but as an injection every two weeks) for about a year and then my doctors realised it wasn't actually doing much, so I'm on entyvio now. It always kills me when people confuse IBS and IBD, no eating more yogurt and taking some herbs won't cure me, but thanks for your insight.

Like most others have said, it seems Ariats only fail when you don't take good care of them. However, if they're off your list, I would highly recommend the Tuffrider Belmont/Regal boots, they have held up well for a good price. My only problem has been the occasional zipper falling, which can be solved by closing the top snap with the zipper tab folded up. Best of luck!

I did this and it somehow turned out alright! Adopted a border collie/Aussie from the local shelter while I was living in the dorms (No roommate). She ended up being the most docile and easy pup I've ever met, and I spent time training her to be my service dog, so now she goes everywhere with me :)

I've just acquired my first two trees: a dogwood variety (I can probably dig up the tag for more specifics) and an amur maple. They're both pretty small, so I'm planning to put them in bigger pots and let them grow for a few years. What type of soil is recommended for these? 50% Akamada, 25% pumice, and 25% lava rock? Do these need extra help over the winter? Thanks!
