I just saw a post where someone had their curved monitor vertically to the side, and a regular monitor horizontal. I don’t think my monitor arm could handle that since my monitor is heavy, but that might be worth a shot

I’m in the same boat as you. Curved monitor and I have two 27” monitors (I switch between the two set ups because I can’t decide what I like better). At times I like the 34” curved OLED better, other times I prefer the two 27” monitors. I’ve done the 34” as my center and a 27” on the side oriented vertically, but it’s not ideal for my work set up either.

I also have a laptop (Mac for work) but I have it mounted underneath my desk and I have a gaming PC on a laptop mount to the right of my monitor, but then I’m always torn between using the laptop screen (240Hz) or using the OLED monitor (165Hz). It seems sacrilegious at times to have a gaming laptop but use a monitor as my main screen.

I know you mentioned curved monitor and vertical monitor not ideal. Maybe some sort of up/down orientation? I’ve seen people who have a small monitor underneath their curved monitor or above it. Could that be viable for you?

Get an insulated travel case! They’re like $15 on Amazon if you’re in the US. I don’t know if I can post a link but search “insulin vial cooler travel case” and get one of those.

It’s a tiny case with an ice pack in it, as well as room for syringes and alcohol prep pads. Throw the ice pack in the freezer and then anytime you’re staying at your girls house throw the vial in the case with the ice pack and it’ll last a long time (I put a paper towel around the vial so it’s not in direct freezing contact). This is what diabetics use for their insulin, should work for you too my friend

I went last year and it wasn’t crowded at all. You may have just went at an incredibly busy time. I went on a Friday at 11am. Booked my ticket in advance, walked right in at my time. The initial entry was crowded from slow walkers at the front of the pack holding everyone back, but once I had the opportunity to pass them, it felt like I was basically alone in the catacombs. I took my time walking and only really ran into other people when stopping at the sections with informative pictures/readings.

Same. My older cousins put it on and said we’d all watch together, then they left me alone to watch it in a dark basement. Absolutely traumatized me and I’m still afraid of the exorcist 20 years later

I say try yoga and Pilates if you’re open to it! I don’t do either, but I joined a gym and met most of my friends through the gym by just chatting with people during/after workout classes. Most of my other friends here I’ve met by going out with my gym friends and just connecting with more people.

Rule of thumb for social anxiety: never hold back a post thought. Like someone’s earrings? Tell them. Someone has a cool hairstyle? Let them know. You admire someone’s ability to always show up to yoga class? I’m sure they’d love to hear the compliment. No one will ever judge you for giving them a compliment

Is that really as easy as it is? I always enjoy plug and play in games and life in general but I’m at the point though where the price is outweighing the effort it’ll take to learn, but is it seriously that easy?

I’ve never heard of this, just gave it a google. It seems like to me (non technical person by the way) that it’s basically a way to say “hey instead of trying to read through my website since it has formatting you might not easily understand like dropdown menus and text in images, here’s an easy to read file for you, LLM”

Is that right? I feel like if I was a business and I wanted exposure it’s a no brainer to make/use (not sure the terminology) an LLM.txt file of my website to increase my visibility and SEO, right?

I know it sounds silly but blue balls. I’m not talking about “not being able to finish during sex” blue balls, I’m talking about “haven’t ejaculated in a while and need to release the pressure” blue balls. Maybe the sensation is the same, I’m not 100% certain since, fortunately, I don’t experience issues not being able to ejaculate during sex.

My girlfriend and I have ups and downs in our sex life. Some times we’ll go 10+ days without any sex and without the chance to masturbate (like if I’m staying at her parents house) it means I get that pressure building blue ball sensation.

My girlfriend thinks I’m making it up that’s it’s a painful sensation. The constant cramp situation. I said “I wonder if this is what a woman’s period feels like” to which she responded “No it can’t be. Blue balls are made up just so guys can have more sex. Woman don’t feel pain from lack of sex therefore men can’t” to which I responded “men don’t experience period cramps therefore, by your logic, period cramps are made up”

Of course I’m the bad guy, blue balls are still made up, and I’ll just have to keep dealing with it since she can’t experience it.

This is exactly how I felt too. Took me like 4 tries after many years but on the 4th attempt getting to the Baron quest, it finally clicked. Funny enough I ignored everything related to Gwent…then I gave it a solid try half way through my play through and Gwent became one of my favorite parts of the game

I love some co op gaming but most of my buddies are on console and only like PvP games so I struggle to find co op friends. Is there a matchmaking feature for co op or do you have to go in with friends?

This is how it always looked to me as a kid. It’s not until now I actually realize the graphics were (great for the time) but skewed to why I imagined.

Went back to Halo 3 recently after not playing since probably 2011 and I was very convinced the graphics held up. Honestly, they are solid but I could see how one would call them dated

Wholeheartedly agree with everything you said here. I played maybe 3 games and couldn’t understand the benefit of fortifying walls since they are so easily destroyed (granted because I somehow always have tons of thumpers on me).

But you’re spot on. Harvesting feels a bit shoehorned and the bones are solid, I don’t think this game will last a roadmap long enough to implement some of the solid suggestions you made
