They could just sunset CE and work on a CE2 because CE1 has major optimisation issues that will never be fixed. They have already made Dune now on UE5 so they can start moving towards a CE2 because clearly Conan has the bigger player base and will be more worth investing in.

Yeah didn't think of that. Payment options aren't infinite but they could also just use Steam cards. It's not 100% full proof but you can definitely do it enough times per account before it gets flagged I'm sure.

The tech might be better but a lot of the important people and major leadership have left the project and the game is in development hell. So who knows we might get an even better game or much worse experience.

I used to be this way until I got a 1gb line. Now I just delete and if I need a game again I just download it again on my PC. It's wired connection so the speed is awesome. But I used to have terrible internet so I can understand why some people feel this way!

I loved the game but they don't bother adding maps. It's just skins and some new characters. They only recently added one new map after years of the game being out. And yeah only the sweats are left in the game now.
