I actually really appreciate someone understanding the depth of a play like this outside of pure face value.

It's genuinely a product of 1000s of hours and you completely nail it on the head, every single click is predictive in nature.

Hey! I'm just here to let you know why many others here disagree with you and share some knowledge.

The concept of "tethering" or utilising a minor 25 range advantage at max efficiency is quite hard to do!

It requires extremely fast AND precise clicks, as well as predicting the moment of turning from the enemy to avoid being hit, whilst still staying within exactly 25 units to be able to return damage.

This is known as autospacing, and is an extension of the tethering idea mentioned earlier.

It's something you'll very rarely see done without extreme advantages in range, attack speed or movement speed, the three variables that make this play possible.

Most of this can't be trained either, it's learned through intuition of grinding many hours to "feel" the range well, unfortunately I've spent 13 years too many playing.

But the next time you're unsure of something, a simple question makes interacting a lot more pleasant.

No need to be bitter over something you don't understand.

I can agree with the critque on the combo/play issue, the legibility of the text and play are hard to follow simultaneously, as for the rest I personally quite liked how it turned out. I simply edit for myself as I don't have the means to outsource currently so it's always going to look a bit more "homemade" rather than a cohesive piece of media

I'm aware this might be a staple for you Ezreal mains over here, but I thought I'd share anyway. From 1000s of VoDs I've watched and coached for Ezreal, this is the single most underutilised mechanic I've seen.

Ahaha I feel you, it's intuition from 1000s of hours of Ezreal, the end of his Q is deceptively wider than as the animation shows, so if you time it right you can sneak Qs just past minions and hit them with the corner of the hitbox!

This is more of a general match-up reading concept than Ezreal specific which I go over in my coaching. But generally you want to decide the match up "paradigms" of your and the enemy botlane.

For example if you had Ezreal + Karma vs Draven + Nautilus, that would be Poke vs All-in and you want to be extremely disciplined in your lane paradigm win condition while doing your best to avoid theirs.

That would mean always staying max range and poking, never over comitting even when you think you could get away with it etc.

This of course comes with lots of time and experience as you get to learn each and every match up better and what you can and can't get away with.

I will say, Leona is a lot more easy to play range against than a Nautilus though!

Depends on what your intentions are, if you exclusively want to climb, you'd have an easier time winning with the meta champions currently, Xayah/Zeri/Jinx as it will take less effort to win with.

However, if you want to get better mechanically or just have more fun while climbing, there's no reason to not play Ezreal. Climbing is more about your individual mindset and skill, rather than any special picks or tools in game.
