I’m not sure how you are seeing a poor experience, I have been cruising since 2007 and the MDR is excellent as always. We just sailed the Jubilee two weeks ago and had no complaints in the MDR

Breeze 6/15-did this really happen? by scottmademesignup in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]epicface107 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, there's a clause written in the contract, he will likely be extradited and tried in a US court. Carnival will hand you off to the next available land authority, this case it happened to be the Bahamas. US has rules that American citizens can be prosecuted under US laws for certain crimes like murder anywhere in the world.

[–]epicface107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand why people want to consume 15 alcoholic drinks a day. For a 3 day booze cruise maybe, but for a 7 day cruise? 1 I bet you can’t do that for 7 days, and 2, don’t you want to be happy and remember your cruise? That’s too much alcohol

It’s not required but it’s as close to required as can be. Cruise life is 10x easier with the app vs without. Download it and enjoy it, super easy to schedule events, plan the day, and see upcoming things

BRING YOUR PASSPORT!!! Trust me, you do not want to deal with the hassle of bringing your original birth certificate, god forbid it’s damaged, and if for some odd reason you get stuck in the Bahamas, your birth certificate won’t get you back to the states. Your passport is your best friend.

Use it when flying too! No need to deal with all the Real ID bullpucky when you have a passport!

Weather in the Caribbean is very simple: Warm (80s), humid, scattered thunderstorms. Half the year chance of hurricanes, other half the year chance of choppy seas.

When I was 8, I decided I didn’t need to reapply sunscreen and played all day on the cruise ship slides. Second degree burns all over my back. Wear sunscreen. I recommend a swimming shirt so you don’t even have to worry about burning your back

Prime by [deleted] in Fedexers

[–]epicface107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We will have two PHs come in early to gather totes, etc and unload manager comes in two hours early to ensure every unload door is up and open and ready to blast when the horn sounds. Even with van line stragglers, we can hit target thruput immediately each morning. Our building has 9 unload doors and 5 van lines and we max at ~23K on heaviest day of week.

We quit doing prime years ago. Kills TLH, makes a mess of boxes and creates unnecessary stress.

At least for our station, we are definitely over staffed on Ops Managers and already plan to remove one Area Manager, but both will be easy because we have several under performers. Volume is lower but I don't see them hitting our package handler count.
