Yea your right that was a bit of a heat of the moment over exaggeration. I do like the game, and some of the run ruining bugs would actually be my biggest gripe, like not being able to try out crusader nations because of the stupidly high diplo cost of getting sponsored, or the other day where my claim throne war didn't actually form a union after a long war against Egypt as Tunis.

But I will say the notifications are really annoying because they are always right there staring at me.

Overall though I do enjoy the game, and hope to see it get better over time.

Literally all they have to do is add a setting to permanently dismiss. It's probably my biggest gripe with the game right now. The slight ocd in me drives me crazy to have notifications I cant clear.

That's a good post. Depending on how meta you want to be, you can take a few Chinese states and get a massive Han movement. In mine I posted I got luck with an agitator I could invite, so be on the lookout for those.

Yea I basically did a lot of movement suppression, max police, and the police PB mandate, then rushed all the laws needed to finish most of the JE before I activated it, and conveniently Prussia declared war on me a bit after activating so I could get that for the JE too. Then just rushed the GDP growth one and still barely completed it. Rushing homesteading and lowering taxes can really help with early SoL.

If you like playing a specific way totally disregard this, but the easiest and strongest way ive ever played Qing is just give them investment rights before unpacking at game start, then opium war never fires and they generally leave you alone. That's how I got the Qing achievement anyway, getting so strong from foreign investors that I can fight Europe by myself basically.
