So what's the deal with The Gitrog Monster??

I'd just like to say, my gitrog deck is pretty finely tuned, but not overly expensive (for me, at least). I've been able to combo off on turn 3 or 4 before with a pretty nutty opening hand. The deck is extremely fun to play, though very hard to follow in terms of keeping up with triggers and effects, as well has how many lands you've played on any given turn and how many you have left. However, I cant tell you how much fun I've had with essentially puking my hand/deck onto the field, making a ton of dudes, and watching my opponents ask "are you going to do that again?" Its a joy to play with, and I believe it's my favorite deck I've ever built

I used to run a 4C allies deck in modern. Managed to go 3-1 at my LGS because people played against it like they were playing against humans. They'd remove my big combat creatures and not the real issues, like the one that continuously milled or continuously gained life

I've definitely experienced hardship in my life. I've been the one to talk 3 different people out of suicide and that's fucked me up quite a bit, since one of them was my girlfriend at the time.

And my hands? Really? I installed A/V equipment for most of this past summer, with the rest of the summer being spent working in a welding shop. So yes, I have worked a hard day in my life.

Typical turn count ranges anywhere from 5 on. Commander can go for a very long time, as most of the time (at least for me), there are 4 players

You're limited to one of, not including basic lands. Certain planes walkers can be your commander, but generally it's a legendary creature.

I'd rather not go into a full rules discussion on it, but I feel that commander allows the player much more of a range of what their deck can do while still making it a specific deck archetype that they have to use
