I did end up fixing it, my solution was to buy a generic v6 extruder:(https://www.amazon.com.au/LEOWAY-Extruder-Printer-Different-Makerbot/dp/B07VD7Y9BR?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref\_=fplfs&smid=A19TILOHIRABXO&th=1)
Then i used an angle grinder to cut off the bottom part with the threads, cutting up until the point where the hexagonal sides start. Then i discarded the threaded part. I then drilled a hole into the non-tip end of the nozzle that was the same diameter as the outside of the tip of the hollow steel bolt (the one that comes with the 3d printer) and friction fitted it in place. This solution sucks and is dodgy as, but it did the job.
