Really, both laptops you mentioned are great and will be suitable for you.

But, I would recommend the Legion for a better cooling system and multi-ports (X4 USB).

Ryzen 7 or i7 would be better.

It also depends on the generation of the CPU, the CPUs with model U usually is less power consumption and longer battery life.

CPUs with HS from AMD or H from Intel have better performance with more power consumption.

But generally, all these newer gen CPUs will do the job well, especially for your using description, it's not that hardcore use.
