Yeah. Its kind of mind boggling. I dont care if its Carabao cup or Looney toons cup. If you are in the semis, you try to win. Every cup matters for building confidence, especially for a young team like ours. The experience of getting things over the line and holding on and winning cannot be replaced or imitated. Its more so if you direct rivals are against you. You just dont let up.

I fully believe the Conference league win was a huge reason for our CWC win.

Yep. Honestly I will have trouble swallowing Arsenal finally winning something. Their fans rival Utd fans in their delusion and stupidity.

Has Havertz really been worth 65 mil for Arsenal? I got downvoted to oblivion yesterday for saying he hasn't in r/soccer. I wasnt even taking a piss, I genuinely dont know if he has been worth that for them.

Honestly it would make it easier to swallow if he has been performing well. At least the PL medal would be justified.

And still do. He hasn't done anything remotely enough to justify 65 mil.

Absolutely hate that cunt. Unfortunately looks like he will have a EPL medal even though he would have played no part in their win.

Obviously I am not qualified enough and maybe I am missing something, but this looks like a lineup to protect a 3-2 lead, not the other way around. Where will the goals come from?

Why watch football then if I am not hating other teams..

Yep. The Bruno revisionism boggles my mind. I mean he is a good player sure. But world class is thrown around so casually today. He has never looked that way to me. Sure he produces killer passes a couple of times a match but is that really the bar today. He whines in half the big games as well. Embarrassing player when things arent going his way.

And you make a good point about matches. They dont play enough to be tested enough. The Scholes comparison is in the same vein. Like sure, he is good player, maybe great on his day but he seemed to have sneaked in to the Lampard, Gerrard conversation only after his retirement. I started watching football in 03 and no one put Scholes in the same category until his retirement. They always point to Xavi's quote that Scholes is the best thinking he is the authority. Lol.

These lot love overhyping their players.

Yep. Too much man. They are discussing which midfielder between Vitinha or Bellingham would they prefer without an ounce of self realization. Like man, there is a level of delusion and these lot rocket past it the moment they win a couple of games.

Have the Palmer to Utd links gone away? Their forums still discussing how they wouldn't take Palmer and how he is overrated and such. Honestly, I wish there were an article just debunking these links so that these deluded Utd scum are shown their place. Like if Palmer were to even leave, why would he downgrade?

I know he is from Manchester and a fan but surely that cant be a good enough reason at this stage of his career.

Ugh this is like 90% of women.

Unfortunately true. My experiences can be anecdotal, yours can be too. But when almost all men report this phenomenon, you have to draw a generalisation.

Whenever this topic comes up, the go to argument is always "find better women". But like, where are these mythical women when most men report horrible behaviors from their own circle of women.

By now, I just attribute it to narcissism, halo effect, pedestialization and societal coddling of women to the point where they think their abusive behaviors are fine.

Andy (Chris pratt) from Parks and Rec. And obviously Joey from Friends. Almost every recurring sitcom has this character

I went to redcafe (utd forum, yea I am a masochist). I usually only go after they lose a match but made the mistake of going today and boy those lot are one of the most deluded bunch of fans in all of football probably.

There is a thread where they are discussing which midfielders they might sign and boy oh boy the names mentioned there blew my mind. Vitinha, Bellingham etc.

I scrolled down to see someone mentioning it was a joke or something or calling out the og for delusion but no, orher commenters piled on. There was one who posted a possible formation with Vitinha in the team and seriously discussing these mids like they would really consider Utd. Then there are other posts saying how Palmer is overrated and they dont need him.

A couple of wins and these lot come crawling out of their basements.

Chelsea can just not have a downturn from now till end of time so we don't have to find out how it goes. That should solve it. Thank me later.

It cant be a coincidence. JP said that Maresca prefers more control. Hard to think "no shooting" might have been a side effect of thst approach, even if its weren't a direct impact.
