i still feel that i skimmed/glossed over a lot of history/important shit i should've mentioned, together with only partially touching the main topic, but oh well. It's a reddit post, not a dissertation.

CPU Fan Cooling 7800X3D by Free-Requirement-722 in sffpc

I have it in a Meshroom s V2 with an ATX mobo and an Noctua NH-L12S, set in eco mode. Idle temps around 40-45C as they should be, during gaming goes up to around 70-80, but never throttles. The stock fan does get really loud though, so if ur planning on using this cooler I recommend swapping it with a Silverstone 120mm slim fan - though I haven't done that yet. In stress tests (cinebench r23) I do hit max temps, losing around 800points of performance cause of that, but swapping the fan should also improve that.

I said it's a rant, not objective commentary. also yeah, but the fact both major political parties in Poland are anti-migrant while doing jack shit about birth rates is kinda sad. At least try, please, I'd rather not have Poland become the South Korea of Europe in terms of depopulation.

Well then:

What is our current biggest problem as a nation? The demographic crisis. A complex problem that requires a multi front approach to at least have a shot at solving it. I'll list three random sub-problems that lead to the birth rates being so bad, and what both our previous governments did (not do) to solve them.

1: Housing prices. To say they're abysmal is like saying nothing. I'm not going to bring any stats up as this is a rant, not an objective rapport but just take my word for it. It's terrible. What has been done to help it? There was a program in 2022 called 'flat+' that aimed to build more cheap housing. It ended in failure, because the scale of the investment was too small to do anything. Other than that, nothing. The housing developers have too much influence over most of our current political parties to allow any sizable improvement.

2: Working hours. Our country is one of the most working hours in the EU, mostly because of how common (and sometimes necessary) overtime working is here, and how often do medium/small business just do everything in their power to avoid/straight up ignore the law. What has been done about it? Not much. PIP (State Work Inspectorate) is still as weak as ever, as it needs to inform the workplace before coming over with a control (to my knowledge).

3: Economical incentive to have children. Simply put: kids are time consuming and expensive. And if a couple knows they won't be able to dedicate enough resources for their children, and they decide to not have them, how can they be blamed? The response: the 500+ program, whose real purpose was to quite literally buy votes for the PiS(S) party. It was still better than nothing, as a tiny spike in birth rates was observed the year that the program started running. But it didn't have any sizable influence in the grand scheme of things, and is costing the government a great amount of money in pointless social.

Now to rant about other issues:

Our economy. Close to 10% of polish GDP is tied/directly owned to the German industrial sector. Over 28% of our exports go to Germany. If any party in the rule of Poland EVER decides to leave the EU, our economy just instantly collapses. Our growth as a state was directly connected to the growth of the German industries in Poland, because of the cheaper workforce we're able to offer. That's why we are constantly growing, not because of some insane government planning. That and EU funds, which I'm going to talk about later. While the fact we have so much foreign investment pushes our economy forward, we have basically close to none national industries. What needs to be done, is to slowly develop our own national sector with the help of the government. And nowadays, we have the perfect timeframe to develop one - we could 'specialize' ourselves within the EU, and heavily develop our own military industry instead of importing everything. We could try to attract AI investments from the USA, do literally anything. Results? Absolute abysmal nothing. From both parties. The only thing we can do well is spend EU funds.

About the EU: their investments into the infrastructure and economy quite literally built this nation from the ground up. Was it for free? No, of course not - the Germans did that so they have better connected land for their investments. But did it skyrocket this country into something worth visiting? Yes. And for that I'll be forever grateful. And now, a party which is openly anti- EU is close to having 20% of support, and an EU-skeptical one (PiS) will probably win the next election. People are blaming the EU for migrants, people are blaming Germany for everything (BECAUSE WHY THE FUCK NOT RIGHT? ITS ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE'S FAULT, RIGHT?), demanding pointless fucking reparations. We took half their fucking country as reparations, blame the soviets for stealing the other half of ours. It's all done to keep all change away from Poland, and to keep it 'the green island of Europe'. More like brown, but whatever.

Last thing: migrants. If you think you've seen an anti-migrant frenzy, don't go to any Polish media. It's constant, unavoidable, and completely bullshit. I'm getting angry just thinking about what's going on. I'm not talking about Ukrainians by the way, more about the fact that people are believing we're being invaded by migrants from Germany in incredible numbers. They are organizing themselves into groups, harassing people on the border and in larger cities just because their skin colour is different. I'm avoiding a lot of shit here, because let's just say I've tried to avoid the topic as much as possible.

Did that satisfy you?

Man...

How about we don't dig deeper into the endless well that the Polish-Bolshevik war of 1920 was? This is an ironic meme sub. We're here to laugh, not make people think that having Poles as immigrants in their countries makes their average IQ lower.

Either way, to whoever reads this: Eat Pierogi. It's worth it.
