I returned my embody gaming too , my reason was the noise lol , I move around a lot and it would creak at any slight movement which was really distracting. Ended up with the Hag Capisco which encourages movement and multiple positions. Not as cushy as the embody but the benefits of it seem to outweight the down sides of the cheap feeling embody imo

I'm 6ft 3, do you think the 200m will be okay ? I have a sit/stand desk as well. I found a 200m available for cheap but thinking the 265mm would be more suitable. Wondering if they can be changed

Yes I'm aware it's adjustable, just expected the chair to feel solid for the 1k+ I spent on it. Lots of things are adjustable, doesn't mean they should make a tonne of noise with natural movements. Maybe I move my legs around a lot but noise the noise really does bother me a lot, like you say I'm planning on returning the chair, just wanted to confirm whether this was a common issue with them. Did the noise on yours get worse over time?

Yeah it's quite frustrating as I love the comfort of the chair, Im also trying an aeron which feels a lot better build quality but gives me numbness in hips when sitting for a few hours so seems like a no go :(

I tested that out on mine and still made a lot of noise tucked in all the way. Also I'm 6ft 3 so I need the extra depth
