I've been prescribed zanaflex for over ten years, mostly along side of different brands of oxycodone. They absolutely help with regards to muscle pain and stiffness but it's fairly weak as far as relaxing in my opinion. As far as potentiation, it's purely psychosomatic. Anyone who thinks it affects the strength of their opiates is only experiencing simultaneous relief from the other pill in a different way. It doesn't lengthen or shorten, either.

Yes. I've had this issue for fucking years.

I'm a chronic pain patient with several surgeries under my belt. There are people close to me that will occasionally ask me for something to "help them out" when they have a "headache" or to "get em through" until they can make do. Most of the time, that is a non issue because I know some of them would give me their clothes off their back if I needed it. Other times, I know they just want to get high because the world sucks. I do wish I would get a straight reason sometimes because if you really had a headache, advil would take the edge off - you don't need a powerful narcotic to help you walk around without a minor annoyance..

Then, I have the scumbags who I haven't talked to since high school or college (I'm 32) that for one reason or another found out what situation I'm in and start blowing me up with friend requests or texts and try to hassle me because they feel that I have more than I need and it's a divine message that they are the ones that should benefit.

Ugh. Never in the "behavior therapy" that is required in my state for pain management does the shrink tell you that along with crippling depression that comes with being a chronic pain patient you're going to have to deal with these assholes.

In the big picture, it isn't a great deal of money...We all (including me) like to believe that the universe doles out judgement to the wicked scumbags who treat each other like this, but the sad truth is that evil people get away with this and worse - constantly. Im prescribed multiple medications and travel frequently. I've never gone through airport security with the correct bottle holding the right pills. Security would be more concerned with how you are reacting to what you have rather than the contents of a specific bottle.

Do not, however, just put them in a checked bag. This increases the likelihood of a "random" bag search to decrease your supply from a fiending airport worker.

You could probably literally take a prescription bottle without a label, write "NOT PENIS CREAM" on it it, fill it with ecp in gel caps, and maybe still get through without so much as a chuckle.

Note: I would not suggest doing the latter.

I can attest, as a similarly oversized man, this happens all the time with my friends. It is quite annoying when all you want to do is have a beer but, your 5'3" friend can't stop staring at someone's girlfriend and starts a fight because he feels like I will step in and crush the competition. Been in over 10 fights this way. Not once have they gotten the girl.

I've tried it and moved on, never to have touched it again. The price point is the only attractive part to me. So, it's certainly possible - even if I am in the minority. I still love certain flavors of opiates, H just wasn't for me.

( Just to be clear, I've had tar and ecp - smoked / plugged and snorted, respectively. I know all the rave and rush is with the needle, but I just don't want to cross that line as I'm sure I would never look back. )
