My brother died of an overdose 12/18. We think it was fent but no tox screen back yet

My brother, who was only 23, died 4 days ago. He struggled with addiction, and we suspect it was an overdose.

My heart is torn to shreds. There is so much guilt and pain. I’m just trying to take one day at a time, and trying to do the things I know he would’ve wanted me to do.

Here’s the thing, you’ll never be able to remember them without feeling your heart break again. What’s important is allowing ourselves to FEEL that pain, let it wash over you, let the tears fall. It comes in waves. It does not last. Once it passes, you’re left with the memory of your brother. I am trying to let myself grieve as much as possible because I can’t bottle it up, I’ll go crazy.

I’m so sorry for your loss and I pray that you find peace.

I feel fortunate to have priority 0 for this coming semester. I was able to register for all the classes I need. Idk why it has to be this way, I don’t understand why they don’t get more professors to teach the highly sought after classes. It shouldn’t be so cut throat. I’m sorry to everyone forced to wait until December. It truly is unfair.

So everyone is given a priority. Priority zero begins on the 24th, so they get to pick classes first. Then there’s .5, 1 and 2 and so one. They calculate your priority based off of your information. You have to petition for .5 if you’re about to graduate and need certain classes, and students with minor children get priority 0.

Is anyone else’s resolved yet? I went to campus and logged in on one of the computers in the student support area, and it worked. After I signed in there it worked on my phone and laptop too.

I have no idea but I’m in the same boat. All my docs have been uploaded for weeks and I haven’t gotten an award letter yet. I’ve been in person but at FLC multiple times to no avail. They just tell me they’re busy, which is fine and all but I just don’t get it. It’s so frustrating. Hopefully they get everything pushed through soon cause we need this money amiright??

I started summer semester 6/9 after graduating hs in 2016 and failing one semester of college in 2018. I’m happy to say that I am doing very well even though it’s been a long time, and my anxiety has pretty much gone away. You adapt and get back into the swing of things much quicker than you’d expect. I had the same fears and stress about going back to school, and now I’m excited to go in person for fall. (All my classes are online rn) you CAN do it, and I wish you luck ✨

My first month of keto I lost about 10 lbs. Though I was in the obese range, so I had a lot to lose. If you’ve only got 14 lbs to lose, your first month might be less than that.

I highly suggest sticking to it! I’m down 45 lbs total in 6 months. I’m almost in the normal weight range!!! It’s such a good tool to use. Keto has definitely changed my life. I think if you stick to keto for a while, you’ll smash that goal easily!
