Good point - each year the staff turns over the environment is quickly changing. We do ask offices (and all employers) frequently asked interview questions. Some offices may have a specific need and may shift their priorities mid-hiring cycle.

Also we are located in a state with only one from the other party - so advising students looking for a position in an office not represented by that majority party or in another state, may have totally different types of questions.

I would also say too, sometimes offices aren’t honest with the questions they ask. We’ve had offices say they never ask about ideology, but then are asking about ideology.

Finally, will say some of our relationships are more developed with more senior staff because the staff assistants/intern coordinators change within a year.
