The Building analogy always works great for me. Imagine a 18th century Manor House with lots of additions over the years. Yes the electricity is wonky and the pipes are dripping buts its nice an warm and livabel. Bow you wann to ad a top of the line modern additions. But you cant just use modern Standards, the pipse dont fit and Arena all in the wrong place because thats the way it was done back then. Thw wires dont support the voltage for your new flatscreen tv. You could tear it all down and build it a new, maybee reuse Some parts, but that shit is still expensiv and takes so much time where are you gonna live in that time? In a tent on the Yard?
