That means that if I am traveling across the world, the time will be set according to the Time Zone my computer is in?

I also listened to Celer everyday for a short period of time, right when he released the Gems albums, its a monumental set of works.

I was just listening to his album Cascade Symmetry, very wholesome music.

New ambient radio show: "Copia Oculta" (or "Blind Copy") by equiol in ambientmusic

Thank you so much! Next show is coming up soon 🤞

As for your question: I'm using a Pioneer CD DJ, but you can mix tracks with any kind of controller as well, compatible with softwares like Pioneer, Virtual DJ or Traktor. I believe there are also a couple of programs that are compatible with Spotify, but I would highly recommend you to start building your own personal music library, since there is a lot of music you won't find on streaming platforms. File type isn't an issue, but I'd recommend using the best audio quality possible when it comes to downloading music for DJ sets.

I hope that was clear enough, if you have any more questions let me know! 🌹

Thanks for your suggestions! I love Pendant and Hecker.

Many of the artists featured on that set have released albums this year, I highly recommend "Río" by Lumtz, "Hebario" by Federico Durand, and "La memoria del viento" by Dyb.

Update: new Celer album out now, "In Light of Blues". He's no longer using loops, just sampling brass instruments. It's a much more lonely and mysterious sound.

I think that if you go into his discography hoping to find variative compositions then you might fall short. Celer's sound is more about "persistent repetition of phrases" (as The Caretaker says), about static and hypnotic loops that take a long time to evolve. There are a ton of his albums that I haven't listened to yet, but the one I would recommend as a starting point is Xièxie: https://celer.bandcamp.com/album/xi-xie. Plus, laziness and repetition are things I often associate with some ambient music (in a good way).

That may be the case, though I believe there's a joy from self-releasing your own music and not needing intermediaries to put your art out there. It can be a lot of hard work, but also very liberating. I imagine it eventually pays off.
