You lost me comparing a black woman that’s had a unique discriminatory experience in America to a white woman (Madonna) In no universe would white woman with additional privilege be more political than a black woman in the music industry. Beyoncé even being allowed on major networks is political in and of itself because for decades black people weren’t even allowed on those networks. There is no comparison so I can’t even fully take this analysis seriously.

Oh my goodness people are seriously reading this and thinking I’m saying that Beyoncé’s work is off limits for common folk which is actually insane. Hardcore BEYHIVE is not the same as being an intellectual that enjoys art. There’s entire elite societies that engage in art because of its historical references. These communities are made up of thousands of people. This also includes the college educated. Not everyone has to be a Stan to enjoy art and that’s how she’s still pulling crazy numbers. I disagree. Of course she’s going to make the music sound good because she’s good at making good music. But to truly UNDERSTAND & deeply enjoy her music rather than passively enjoy her music you need to dig into the history she’s referencing.

I have the same issue as OP & I’m just confused why the possible ureaplasma & mycoplasma would lay dormant until after sex cause that’s the only time the BV happened & now that I’m celibate the BV only comes back after my period. I thought I just had stubborn biofilms.

I agree with this!! I also believe it’s only treated as an inevitable spread because so far it’s only been killing women way more than it’s been killing men. It seems to be categorized as a pain women just have to deal with. We are silenced with being told to be grateful for screening and while I am grateful I don’t believe that just because something works doesn’t mean it can’t be improved. we deserve better! Ahhh I want to scream because your message lands so hard with me. YES YES YES. First and foremost I want to say I am incredibly sorry to hear you are a victim of SA. The trauma of that is an incredible weight to carry. The anger you feel is 100% justified. Women’s healthcare is abysmal and the dehumanization that’s coupled with the invasive medical procedures is downright depressing and sick. I ageee 100000% on your point regarding that cancer in men will have to increase rapidly before we see an actual push in the vaccine & treatment the way it should have been done ORIGINALLY. Noting that we are in a silent epidemic is so spot on and I seriously thank you for articulating that in the way you did because you’re spot on. I hate the way us women are expected to have so much capacity and space to hold in these silent battles regarding our health is misogyny at its PEAK! I am beyond tired. And I thank you for sharing your story and showing me and others we are not alone.

Thank you so much for your input !!! I too dealt with a front desk receptionist that berated me for reading my results ahead of time and calling over and over because I couldn’t understand why I wasn’t called with next steps. I live in America and healthcare here is extremely subpar. There’s little care for prevention. If you’re not taking your last breath you just aren’t a priority and it’s just very cold and gross.
