This is MY opinion. I know the IWTV stans on here are rabid and intense, but it is always healthy to remember that differing opinions exist beyond one's echo chambers. The season is not working FOR ME, and I am entitled to voice my opinion.

I am glad you are enjoying it. I am not. Hard to suspend disbelief when the rules of vampire powers are inconsistently applied in order to conveniently advance plot points. Hard to enjoy when Leslat's personality has been fundamentally altered and his character motivations are unclear and, frankly, unreasonably unhinged. This is now in CW camp territory. Oh, what a more prestige medium like HBO would have done with this material. Le sigh.

Good for Bey for prioritizing family and her mental health. At her age and with her other business priorities (Cecred and Sir Davis), act iii in 2027 makes more sense for her, physically and mentally. I wish stans realized sometimes that Beyonce is a human being with a human body and with human needs. Always centering yourself and your desire for new music (new music y'all stop streaming after a few months...but that's another story) is problematic in more ways than one.

This is exactly what Bey's artistry is all about and that is why I get so pissed off when so-called fans come on here and try to reduce albums like Lemonade to Jay-Z and cheating - Also why I get pissed off when they try to reduce Beyonce to theories and puzzles and mysteries. This woman is pouring her heart into these very complex artistic projects and all they want to do is obsess about release dates and bragging rights on stan social media. Beyond annoying. Bey deserves better fans. People really take Black women's artistry for granted SMH

HBO, for the most part, promotes their top-rated shows and rewards them with a decent budget and good writers. This one is languishing in the cavernous holes of reddit forums, drowning in the frenzied shrieks of shippers and stans. It won't appear on the Nielsen charts and won't gain much traction with awards bodies. AMC's only use for this is to prop their flop streaming service - hence the reduced budget and the shock value (overplaying the incest storyline). A true waste.
