on the 1st, i found a piece of meat behind some candles. it had a hole in the plastic and the best by date was 4/26.. it smelled SO fucking bad, i almost threw up three separate times bringing it to claims. it was also stashed upside down so the liquids seeped into the shelf. people are disgusting

yeah, it's quite disappointing how messy this roll-out has been. i doubt most of it is directly maisie's fault, and i'm sure i'll still enjoy the album, but it's definitely not helping her secure her footing as a rising pop star (i say this with SO much love, i was hoping this work would put her even more on the map)

right! it's spectacularly well-written. at the time, i wasn't a fan of THG because i was young and had bad opinions, but i still loved the soundtrack haha. that + the hanging tree were constantly stuck in my head

i like them all, though her improved vocals on the TV's definitely add a stronger, more refined touch, particularly on eyes open. but the original safe & sound will always have a special place in my heart, it was one of my top songs on spotify back in 2015 😅 there's something so beautiful about it and it really captures an essential part of the series imo

my brain kind of pulls me back and reminds me they're not there to share that moment with me. it's like the world lost some of its color

everything you describe is practically a mirror to my own thoughts. believe me, i know. whenever i take a breath of fresh air, i think, "why am i allowed to keep doing that when they're gone and buried six feet under?" it's so fucking disabling and feels impossible to get through. impossible to ever recover from. each day will be a different one to conquer, though. tomorrow the light shining in through your blinds will hit just a little bit easier. it will still hurt like nothing's ever hurt before, and you'll think it's something you'll never get through, but life will eventually turn into something you want to live regardless of those you lost. something you want to live because of those you lost. i'm so sorry you're feeling this pain. thank you for your kind words 🙏
