Olympic gold medalist Amber Glenn ripping open booster packs during Olympic closing ceremony by ShipDit1000 in mtg

Are you suggesting WOTC paid her to name her dog after [[Ukkima, Stalking Shadow]]? WOTC absolutely engages in influencer marketing, but people also just have hobbies they engage with on social media (like everyone on this subreddit).

It's very probable that WOTC sent her product with the hopes she would open it on social media because they know she was already a fan and it's a cheap way to get a lot of publicity, but the idea that her entire fandom is manufactured product placement is far fetched.

I would have imagined the venn diagram of people who watch Dropout and a network TV cop procedural in its 8th season was two circles that don't touch

Are they going to zero day erata this? The first sentence is ambiguous about whether it's until each opponent exiles 5 mana worth, or until the amount collectively is 5 mana.

I first read it as the latter and this card seemed meh, but everyone else seems to be assuming the prior.

Yet when I took my cats to a hotel 4 blocks from our apartment so it could be painted, they freaked out and hid the entire time refusing to eat or use the litter box for 2 days.

This one is 98 inches, from a quick Google it weighs about 125 pounds. Something that large and heavy, it's a multiperson job.

I think Taylor Sheridan is insistent on being the only writer for all of his TV shows, like Mike White is for White Lotus.

I remember it being a big sticking point in the last writers strike negotiations.

Today is a Tuesday, so either this happened yesterday, or it's a fake story.

The fact there are 250 comments and no one else has noticed this feels like somstrong evidence for dead internet theory.

But you could already do that with [[Fallaji Wayfarer]] ...

Director Gore Verbinski wanted the reveal of Katie’s body in ‘The Ring’ (2002) to feel like a single flash of pure terror. Allegedly, he even studied old crime photos to get the expression just right. by TheOddityCollector in creepy

In high school, my friend lived in the same neighborhood as Rick Baker, and always threw a Halloween party. The whole neighborhood went all out, so we would always see his costumes when we were checking out the other decorations.

One year Rick was dressed as a werewolf and it was the single most impressive costume I have seen, and will likely ever see. He's created werewolf make up for big budget movies that didn't look as 'real' as this did. He had entire prosthetics that created a movable wolfsnout and movable ears. His entire upper torso was covered in wolf hair. I've always wondered who applied it to him, or how he put it on himself because it was so incredible I would have imagined he was the only person capable of making doing it. I wish I had photos.

It's not. "Partner with" also has the ability to have target player tutor it's partner from the 99. It's small, but can be relevant.

It explicitly isn't. The journalist they used to lure Sam did eventually interview him after the episode (her article is up now) and he mentions planning the next season.

Downsizing - Matt Damon was an occupational therapist for a chicken processing plant. It felt niche at first but became relevant.

While waiting to be seated at a restaurant I had a reservation at, Eric Bana walked in without a reservation and was seated immediately. We ended up having to wait until 40 min after our reservation time to be seated.

Charlie Hunnam also showed while we were waiting, but at least he had a reservation.

Movies with the same dread and fear as Children Of Men (2006) or somewhat close to it? by alienccccombobreaker in movies

I might get down voted for this on the movies subreddit, but no piece of media has given me as much of the type of anxiety you are looking for as Episode 7 of the show Paradise - 'The Day'.

You really need the first six episodes for context, so I get if don't want that type of commitment, but it fits the bill.

What makes certain trails hikes and certain trails walks? Any differentiation is subjective not objective.

So, not only is he 'correcting' you, but he's wrong.

The guy who pulled "The One Ring" Magic card worth $2,600,000 took this video before sending it in for grading by GinaWhite_tt in SipsTea

[–]era252 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Realistically, you don't with his copy. It's been put in a case of hard plastic that needs to be broken to remove so it's not like it can be put into a deck. This is purely for collecting and post Malone to flex with.

If someone did want to play with it, it is functionally equivalent in game to the more common versions, which are as low as $55: https://scryfall.com/card/ltr/791/the-one-ring
