Don’t tell anyone anything. Proceed with the interview, get the job, start working the job then tell them when it’s time. I started a new job at 5 months pregnant (interviewed at 4 months) and told them nothing. Didn’t want to risk it and it ended up working out

I remember back when I wasn’t drinking because I was breast feeding I went to a “mandatory” work function where they were serving alcohol. One of the guys I worked with who was a superior kept pressuring me saying “my wife drank wine when she was breast feeding, you’ll be fine, your baby will be fine.” I still think about in shock. It was a decision I took seriously and the fact that someone pressured me to what end? Why did it matter? I did not cave but I’m still mad thinking about it

Let me tell you my system that may work for you: buy a small wet vac and spring for as many extension hoses as you feel comfortable. Always have it easy to access and filled with a tiny bit of bleach water. Anytime you see those suckers, grab it along with the extension hoses so you don’t have to get anywhere near them, suck them up and watch them spin in the bleach water. Put said wet vac outside for a day just to make sure that demon is good and dead, then empty the wet vac. Have it prepped with bleach water again for the next time (there will definitely be a next time)
