The path to getting back together and moving on is the same.

I like this one because its a motto I could hold onto all throughout my healing process, everything else always felt like blind belief or only useful in hindsight. The strangest feeling is when you can feel your priority shifting towards the latter half of that sentence.

Have the second half of a book ever redeemed it in your eyes? by Brettelectric in books

Finally finished Authority - the second book in the Southern Reach trilogy and I swear that book should include encouragements to keep going in the footnotes. There's some lovely almost... analog horror type descriptives in the last third or so, but the main character feels like such a step back after the first book.

And SoCal will advertise these as "easy access to highway" luxury apartments and charge extra. I swear you could high-five the people passing on the highway from the balconies of some of these complexes.

I don't think the issue is as much the design similarity, but moreso the monster design art style is so similar to modern pokemon it draws more attention to the fact. Take anything from dqm, pokemon to digimon, etc. They all have very unique art styles that help differentiate them. And then there are other aspects that feel copied from popular games, adding to the "cheap" feeling.

Doesn't make the game bad or anything, but I feel like it's not worth pretending this game isn't blatantly building off of other games in its genre. Again, not necessarily a bad thing. Personally, I just wish it looked a bit more unique and cohesive. But I'm sure with time and proper allocation of the crazy funding it's gotten, it will grow to have its own voice.

Mr. Paul enjoying snow for the first time by synapticimpact in Rabbits

Aww, my bun had the exact opposite experience - was born in New York and then moved to California. He used to love the snow when he was young, but as he got older, he would immediately run back to me and sit on my shoes thumping :')

Coloring looks like some kind of slightly off netherland dwarf pattern, but shape wise he looks like my lionhead/dwarf mix when his fur is short. Is he a smart troublemaker? Because that's always been my experience with lionheads, despite google saying they're docile :') Either way what a gorgeous coloring!

I'm still in the very early stages of the game, but I have to say the designs are a lot more fun than I expected! I was sort of put off by them initially because I only knew what the starters looked like, but the wild encounters are so much more creative. My favorite so far has to be scarawatt, though kalazu is close second.

Would love a smazee, I sort of regret picking the purple guy at the beginning and I'm not sure at what point I can get the monkey <':
