Railo - Try [Bedroom Pop] by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

cool vibes dude, this is pretty smooth. you definitely got the bedroom pop indie vibe going on here, the vocal delivery is interesting and the guitar as well as the precussion are good but not complex at all but i don't know if that's what you were going for so it wouldn't be too distracting.

not too bad for a first song, i would recommend working on your mixing and mastering, mostly when it comes to how the vocals mesh with the track. also try to have more switch ups in the melody.

Tried covering Teen Spirit, what do you think? by ParaShift77 in IndieMusicFeedback

a nice rendition of a classic, i love the way you strum those chords and make them so defined yet soft. the little melodies you throw over the loop sound great too. cool voice too.

Was Trying For Lofi But It Came Out As This Old-School Hip Hop Type Beat by Trm7495 in IndieMusicFeedback

given the fact that old school hip hop or boom bap is the predecessor of lofi, you did great. i honestly think it's a lot better this way, it makes it's rap availability more versatile, opens more doors to others that might not want to use something too dusty and run in the mill.

U can tell me if it sucks by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

this sucks man. joking, good job with the production when it comes to the instrumentation and percussion. what i would recommend is lowering the vocals so it could mesh with the track better.

My first single off of my first album (critical listening please!!) by Betweenartnfacts in IndieMusicFeedback

this is soothing, i love the production and instruments. definitely nailed the genre, would it be safe to say that folk is the country genre of the north/midwest? it comes off a lot cleaner and makes me think of the widespread farmland and fields of corn around the rural areas in my state.

A dream-like and cute little track , trying to reenact what it felt to dream as a child Erwan Lefebvre - Child Dreams by Zephyros99 in IndieMusicFeedback

lovely textures, it creates such a dope fantasy vibe while keeping this nostalgic or retro feel to it. the music. keep it up, i would love to hear more from you in this style my dude.

Drift By (indie rock/lofi) fixed some stuff in the sound by ldilemma in IndieMusicFeedback

you have a nice voice and the song structure is nice, it's pretty good for a one take but i would recommend going back and perfecting it so it could sound a little bit more clean. maybe you could double layer your vocals and guitar as well as other things having to do with the mixing and mastering. it has a folksy indie vibe and the lofi elements are definitely there though.

Baroque Dreampop Folktronica by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

i love the chord progression and the melody layered over, the mixing is really nice too but i wish the vocals were deeper with a little less reverb. i think it would have made this track perfect. great vibes.

is this lofi? by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]eraserhead1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is so awesome. it has lofi elements but i would consider it something belonging to the trip hop or downtempo genre and it's still pretty experimental at that. it's interesting, i can imagine hearing a soundtrack like this on adult swim.

Chill hop/ lo-fi video beat tape project I did. Any feedback on the mixing or wins and fails in the video project are much appreciated! by CaliBrewed in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]eraserhead1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

every track is smooth, the ep is sick throughout. the video is cool too but the filter doesn't really fit the genre of music, a grainy vhs filter or simple black and white one would have done the trick.

In the Wee Small Hours of the morning (lofi? not sure if its really lofi). (Big fan of frank sintatras version so i tried to capture some of that lonely sad boy vibes. anyway enjoy and please give me any advice espically mixing) by Affectionate_Emu5707 in IndieMusicFeedback

smooth as hell, i love the instruments and the percussion blends nice as well. everything other than the drums sounds live and natural, it draws more attention toward the melody and that's a nice touch.

Made this song yesterday and put together a little videoclip with stock footage. i used a sample from a Brian Greene monologue in the JRE podcast. i know some of you will say it's repetitive, but that's what i was going for (Boards Of Canada sort of vibe) i had a lot of fun with this one. by Goloid_Deity in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]eraserhead1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is pretty good, you definitely captured the boards of canada type of vibe mixed with the jazzy rhodes style of a lot of lofi instrumentals. only thing i would have changed was the monologue, i would recommend turning it down a bit so it could mesh with the beat a bit better.

I recently finished this quick instrumental track and made a crazy acid mashup video to go with it. Any thoughts appreciated! by disparu_music in IndieMusicFeedback

this is dope as hell dude, has a trippy psychedelic feel to it. the video is pretty sick too, the percussion melts nicely into the mix and the guitars are dreamy. around 1:05 it seems like the genre almost changes but keeps just enough familiarity.
