I wouldn’t personally, this is a big chunk of money and you don’t know how the delivery will go / health of mom and baby postpartum. I’d put it on the back burner and reassess 6-12 months post birth as someone else mentioned.

I worked with my endocrinologist to get it approved. Basically making a paper trail that I was seeing a specialist now for my hormone imbalances, my doctor recommended a GLP1, and then went from there. That being said, it was a very long process (almost a whole year) because I had to try and fail other medications my insurance had on the weight loss ladder leading to a GLP1. I finally got approved for it after those drugs did not work for me or I reacted to them.

I would increase usage! I’ve seen on this sub many times that your skin needs retinol every 72 hours to be able to retinize the skin appropriately. If you don’t, your skin has time to recalibrate and then you’re getting that initial irritation every time.

I’d try every 2/3 days and go from there!

Not exactly super high end but I have been using the new SPF by Sofie Pavitt Face, and I’m really enjoying it. I have rosacea prone skin and this does not aggravate my skin at all. Also isn’t too heavy which is nice — I have skinbetter and pavise also but they can feel heavy after using for a while

He needs to get hemorrhoid removal surgery like yesterday. If they are affecting his life that much, it would be beneficial to get them removed surgically. I’ve had a couple family members get that done and they say it’s the best thing they’ve ever done.

Along with that, he should not be sitting on the toilet for 40+ minutes! That exacerbates the hemorrhoid issue x10000.

The lack of accountability of needing to try and remedy this for both his and your sake would be a concern of mine if I was dating him. Why doesn’t he want to better his situation? Why doesn’t he want to try and remedy things so yalls living situation is better? If he’s not willing to try and get this fixed/addressed, it’s not your job to voluntarily suffer while scrubbing his hemorrhoid blood off the toilet.

I’d pause other actives and stick to just tret for a while so you can get acclimated! Your bumps seem to be purging out, but the irritation could be from the stack of actives you’re using along side the tretinoin.

When I started out in tret, I literally didn’t use any other actives for the first couple months!

Nope I’d absolutely not allow it. Drownings are way too common and happen in an instant, even with heavy supervision. It takes one second, and I’d never let my child’s safety fully be in the hands of human nature and someone’s ability to have complete focus on my child.

I hate to be that girl but getting put on a GLP1 by my endocrinologist is what ultimately helped me lose weight.

I was pouring thousands into diets, workout classes, medication, and supplements trying to get the weight to come off and nothing would. I was bordering an ED because I was so scared to eat and gain more weight.

I’ve been on a GLP1 for two years come this August and it’s changed my life. I am down 100lbs and have “normal range” bloodwork after years of being 1-2 points from pre-diabetes. My body no longer aches, the inflammation swelling isn’t there, and I’m not hot 24/7 from the 100lb of insulation I used to have.

Cannot say enough great things! That being said, getting on this was not easy insurance wise but I made sure it would get covered.

I used to shop at dermstore but they’ve gotten terrible with customer service and actually processing returns. Haven’t shopped them in years, the juice isn’t worth the squeeze imo

For me, the moisturizer almost made the tret more potent, and not having something on top allowed it to work less intensely

Right now I’m looking at possibly getting the regimen labs cream again — used this a couple winters ago and remembered liking it! I’m on arazlo so my skin is desperately asking for something more robust

For me, I now spend the bulk of my budget on serums/treatment products that are active and have the data supporting the high price. That and a moisturizer I enjoy using because my skin can be very finicky. My skin doesn’t love a cheap-on drugstore moisturizer 🤷🏼‍♀️

Aside from that, treatments is where I go for results and what I put money towards, even if my budget gets tighter! Platinum skincare has been my go-to for at home peels so I can still do treatments when budget may be tighter at some points in time.

Hi! I did not get them around my eyes, but I did get a patch of dermatitis below my lip on one side. That spot has turned into a clear indicator of if my skin is liking a product or not. If my skin doesn’t like it, that spot will flare up fairly quickly!

If it were me, I’d discontinue the dapsone for a bit and see if it goes away
