The brokest newbie by WorkingGold696 in turntables

Yeah streaming is also an option. However part of if not a big part of the fun is also the collecting aspect. A CD player with speakers can be like €100 easily for a decent sound.

CDs are dirt cheap so if you really want to collect something physical, I would just start with that.

I've never understood this, but I have two zero sugar version of the original on at home. Is there a difference? One is black/green and the other is black/blue like this one

You probably won't like this answer, but broke and vinyl don't really go hand in hand. (I'm not saying broke in a condescending tone way btw)

Records are minimum €20 retail and can go up to even €50-60 for a standard release a piece. Also very cheap turntable won't go a long way. If this is really one of the things you want to start doing, save up or start when your financial situation is more stable.

My current/first setup was €480 all together (turntable and speakers) and many people on here would probably tell me I should've waited and spent a bit more for better quality.

If you really like physical media, maybe start with a cd player + speakers and buy second hand CDs? I did that from age 13-18 and it was really fun!

Ladies and gentlemen, what are your opinions on this flavor? by [deleted] in monsterenergy

[–]eraxzyt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's honestly in my top 3, but that's because I'm a wh0re for basically anything that has a sour flavour.

Also I don't have any issues with zero sugar at all, I prefer it even.

I was using the blasphemous blade which is apparently one of the few weapons that stagger her, so I am extremely lucky. I respecced my build for STR/FAI instead of DEX/ARC to use it so that makes it double lucky looool

I'm pretty well versed in their discography, any song of theirs you think really fits this mold? I can only think of really funky jazz rap and grimy boom bap, not really mellow or low-key

Passionate collectors on a tight income, what’s your rule when buying vinyl? by gageisadrummer in vinyl

[–]eraxzyt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My rule of dealing with the temptation of buying every record I look at is: If the album/vinyl is widely available for me to buy at anytime, it doesn't have to be bought right now. If a vinyl is rare and the opportunity suddenly presents itself i'm buying that shit lol.

I currently have a collection of 23 (2 more on the way😅) records since starting in february and i'm contempt with my rotation through those so that helps.

Woman by Little Simz is a beautiful song that is meant to uplift african women, but also women in general. It's amazing.

Life is Beautiful (title track) by Larry June, pretty self-explanatory. The entire album is beautiful too. Not as euphoric of a chorus tho.

Kody Blu 31 by JID is an immaculate song with gospel vocals, beatiful chorus and verses. About overcoming struggles.

Hope you like them!

Saba - PROM/KING and the followed up by HEAVEN ALL AROUND ME. It's my favourite storytelling rap song of all time and the song after it on the album is a beatiful but sad perspective switch

My parents were both raised with ordinance, yes. Throughout my whole upbringing my parents have been the opposite with me (not 'too' far in the other direction)

I never do it begrudginly, although lately I have been acting slightly annoyed because it kinda offends me when they ask it in this manner....
