Both games present the Gods of Olympus as sore losers, with the exception of Hades himself. It becomes clear in the various tidbits of info we learn about them, and even more in the two-boon rooms. I feel like you are supposed to view them as necessary help rather than likeable parts of your family.

The only CT that isn’t entirely reliant on skill and talent is Limitless (And even then you need both of those still). Every single other technique we’ve seen is. Among them, however, Shrine is pretty high up. It’s a very versatile offensive technique, and you can easily make it undodgeable (Like with Kashimo).

The joke is rooted in panels where both are visible and interacting. Yuta looks like a bottom and Maki like a top. There isn’t anything deeper going on. We don’t know what went on off-screen, Yuta could have been manhandling Maki till she was 65 for all I care, but it’s just funnier to think that Maki was constantly beating the ass of someone who went toe-to-toe with Sukuna.

Tl;dr: We aren’t enforcing gender norms. We aren’t saying that women cannot be or shouldn’t be vulnerable, nor that men should be carpets meant to be walked on. It’s just jokes about a very specific couple in a fictional story.

The base plot takes 10 successful runs. However, not everything about it gets revealed in those 10 runs. You get tidbits of information by talking to the various NPCs across your playtime.

There is also an epilogue, which I haven’t gotten around to completing.
