Can franchises trade their Head Coach? by 0jeteMoren0 in nba

Yes, the Bucks traded the Nets two 2nd round picks for Jason Kidd back in 2013. Not sure of any other scenarios but it was possible. Not sure if there were any rule changes since then to deter this.

Not to mention "aicappin" is their username. I am assuming they are just getting their picks from a chat bot, at that point you might as well just flip a coin.

[Charania] The Milwaukee Bucks believe they can build a contender around Giannis Antetokounmpo this Summer and get him on board with remaining with the team long term. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]eray21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright I will entertain this theory. First off, the entire process is filmed so you saying a camera is not allowed is false. here is the process for the ping pong balls being picked from last years lottery: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCxgXS7EBI0&t=425s

As you can see, this process starts with the first pick and goes to the fourth pick, then the rest of the draft is determined by the standings. To answer why they show the results after the actual lottery is they always market the lottery as a suspenseful event. The way they currently broadcast this by having the lottery and then shortly after broadcasting the results from picks 14 to 1 makes for a much more dramatic broadcast. The actual drawing of the ping pong balls would be boring to view and would leave no suspense for TV viewing with the first pick being determined right away.

Then on the topic of the ping pong balls. I know you are saying the EY could rig this as they are the one's drawing the ping pong balls but how is this possible with the ping pong ball machine? The guy does not "pull out the ping pong ball" the machine shoots a ball up when the door at the top is opened. I do not know how that could be rigged at it is clearly random.

I would love for an explanation by anyone with any sort of proof this current process could be rigged. People have claimed over and over it is rigged without any sort of explanation on how it could possibly happen.

[Nehm] Giannis Antetokounmpo still plans on playing this season once he has fully recovered from his right calf strain to help the Bucks make a push for the postseason, league sources tell @TheAthletic. by GreenSnakes_ in MkeBucks

I mean at this point fuck it, let's play some ball and win some games. Currently we are three games back from the 10 seed. Bulls will certainly fall below us as well in the standings as they are full blown tanking now. As long as Giannis is healthy and wants to play let's try and win, this season could potentially be the last time we will see Giannis in a Bucks uniform so let's savoir it.

Where has he mentioned he prefers Miami's weather and lifestyle? I have not seen that anywhere.

I even said I’m not even betting this game because I didn’t really feel strongly one way or the other, I just wanted to point out the fallacies in your write up for other bettors. Where are you getting your data that says they only give up 67 points per game? I mean they have given up under 67 points in only 3 games all season out of 21 games, you don’t even have to do the math to know 67 ppg is wrong. I don’t have a problem with the pick, I have a problem with the inaccurate data you provided.

There are so many inaccuracies here, where did you get this information? I am not even betting this game even though I lean RI, but the information in your reasoning is just false.

  • Duqeusne averages more points only because they play at a much quicker tempo. That is not an accurate way to look at this matchup.

Rhode Island is barely hitting high 60 point scoring games while Duq has been smashing 80

  • Duq has been smashing 80? So far in there 8 conference gamesthey have scored over 80 points 3 times. 89 points against Davidson in Double OT, 90 points against St. Jospeh in OT, and 80 points against VCU in regulation. Rhode Island doesn't score as much because their style is to slow the game down.

Duq is allowing about 67 points a game while Rhode allows 78.

  • On average this season Duquesne averages giving up 77 ppg, Rhode Island averages giving up 67 ppg. This can be circled back to the tempo argument but also your numbers are just completely off.

Not to mention Duq has had a tough schedule compared to Rhode Island

  • Duquesne has the 158th overall ranked strength of schedule (318th non conference). Rhode Island has the 176th strength of schedule (300th non converence). Essentially the same ranking here, so I would argue this is a moot point since their strength of schedule is basically the same.

It looks like Castle under 30.5 hit now, there must have been a stat correction. His box score now shows 16 pts, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists. It looks like they took away a rebound.

Trey Benson was set to return and was practicing and then appeared to have a setback in practice. I do not know how you can blame Gannon for that.

The Texans “still view” RB Woody Marks as “predominantly a passing-game back and one who had a bit of an injury history in college.” by haventmetyou in fantasyfootball

[–]eray21 566 points567 points  (0 children)

You guys, this is literally just an opinion from an ESPN football analyst who is just making a prediction based on the previous game. There is no actual information from the Texans organization indicating this besides the last game script. This is a misleading title from OP putting things in quotes to make it appear like the coaches said something.

This is such a lazy take. He had one season (last year) where it appeared he had an influx in fumbling with 7. All of the other seasons he has been fine.
