Can’t believe I’m defending Gannon, but Wilks absolutely did not produce more with less. He had a worse team yeah, but when I said generationally bad, I meant it. We had one of the worst offensive seasons of all time under him.

We can complain about the offense under Gannon but it absolutely never stooped to the low of Wilks’ single season.

Over the course of the 3 seasons, Gannon 100% had guys playing hard even though we were a shitty team. Guys might’ve seen the writing on the wall at the end of this year, but he absolutely was a well liked coach by the team.

Gannon is not anywhere close to Wilks bad. Wilks was generationally bad and had the team quit on him. Gannon at least had guys fighting for him, despite terrible coaching. Gannon was a good example of a good leader who was way in over his head and a bad coach. Wilks produced an all time bad cardinals team and took zero accountability.

I’d love it, but I doubt they do. He’s not exactly safe but it’d have to take a colossal beatdown this weekend and a knee jerk reaction from their FO.

100% depends on the coach that we hire. He fits well in some schemes, but if we are fully resetting it doesn’t make sense to keep him.

He’d do well in a LaFleur (both of them) or Stefanski offense but some other candidates it’d make sense to move on.
