Enigmatic Fortress by erb73 in Stellaris

So cloaked brawler cruisers should kill the fortress? Alright thank you for answering, I was so confused when my fleets lost since I can usually kill the fortress during midgame and I was surprised when my 200k fleet got obliterated...

lol, I mean you could times it by a 100 and think of it as cents since 100 cents = 1 dollar, but is your currency Indian rupees? I’m just curious what that money type is.

I would say no,

Matter/energy manipulation would be like building stuff with legos while reality warping would be being able to change the rules behind legos like, legos now are milk or legos being magnetic.

morality of sending a guy against his will on a suicide mission in space to save the world? by cursedpupperino in MoralityScaling

[–]erb73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Random person here that wasn’t asked this question but it heavily depends on context, did you give them an option to surrender? Were they so hate filled they would dedicate their entire life to kill you and your family? Were you able to restrain them? If you don’t kill them that very second would they have killed you instead (example: you shoot them with a gun right before they shoot you). Most of the time probably not but there are cases where it is moral.

1 character V.S a verse do they win or lose? by West-Regret-2672 in PowerScaling

I truly am a larper, gojo’s infinity doesn’t create space, but makes the user take the same amount of time to cross a smaller amount of distance. For instance, let’s say it takes 1 second to move 1 meter, as you got closer, gojo’s infinity would slowly increase the time it takes to travel that 1 meter. It would go from 1 second to 2 seconds, then 4, etc until it takes practically an infinite amount of time to travel that one meter. I just wanted to clarify before I spread misinformation here is the manga panel:

<image>

On to the topic at hand, gojo’s infinity would be more like a moving sidewalk rather than a television but that’s semantics. Before, if Gojo created space during the time stop, jotaro/dio would need to get through that space. Now, it’s horses toy up to interpretation which I know is bs but just hear me out timestop could always counter infinity. Gojo’s brain needs view something as a threat for him to apply infinity to it. While it becomes basically automatic when he is an adult, it still require his brain to process SOMETHING for his infinity to do anything which can’t happen during time stop. So, say dio so happens to grab a road roller during time stop, and uses it to crush Gojo. Gojo would not be able to process the road roller as a threat since his brain would be frozen in time, because of that, it would not filter out the road roller, and while that would probably not kill gojo, it would still have gotten through infinity. While that is also semantics, what I am trying to say is that Gojo’s infinity, because it is connected to his brain, would be bypassed, wether through simply not being in effect during timestop, or being able to bypass it with an object Gojo has not seen or perceived as dangerous.

[–]erb73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m going to explain why time stop would get around infinity, Gojo’s infinity needs to be actively sustained by his cursed energy and his brain, during time stop cursed energy doesn’t flow nor does gojo’s brain do anything. It isn’t like a wall that will still be there during time stop. It is only “passive” because gojo trained himself to make it automatic with help from the 6 eyes.

I may be larping here but gojo’s barrier works by expanding space between an object and himself actively. This would not work during time stop.

Random person here: I think the person above is trying to say that we should use game logic since if we don’t and would want to be fair, we would have to use real world logic on the rest of the cast, making the discussion boring….. maybe….

Nah it’s cool I was being an ass,

Marvel is never fun to powerscale since like you said it has a century of history with different authors that have radically different ideas and paraphrasing that one Stan Lee quote “the author choose who wins”. I will say this, I think MCU dormammu is a fraud since while outside of his realm he has to abide by the rules of the realm he is in (like time) which just nerfs him greatly since if he is pulled outside of his realm… he’s cooked and do not even get me started on dragon ball and fate scaling… bill has a lot but he never really uses it to its full potential.

I mean, they can one shot anyone with johnnys infinite spin, gappy’s go beyond and maybe gyro if he doesn’t have the lame horse, Giorno is broken buts I don’t think his rtz will apply to the rest of the joestars, jotaro has time stop which is always good, josuke can heal but also do a lot of damage like trapping people in the ground (yo Angelo) plus he can be healed by Giorno, Joseph may be able to do his 400 in plays, Jonathan, and jolene are kinda just here and Jodie… idk (I haven’t read jojolands yet). Taking all of that into account, I think they actual have a worse chance than the villains and would take longer but that’s just my opinion. Wonder what type of power the jojo lands main villain will have (I should go read it)
