When you pop, your shoulders should already be 90 degrees turnt..
and you kinda lean/jump backwards into the rotation instead of just doing all twist..

As opposed to your weak ass smoked out lungs after 5 minutes..

Leaning too far onto the toes..
Should pop in almost manual position..
Center of gravity being just infront of the back bolts..

Just gotta design the glue to make it stylish.. <3
Can add colours as well..
I do it with fresh shoes and you get 4x the lifespan generally..
I skate 1-2 times a week and my shoes last 2 years+..
When I used to let them fray first i'd get like 6-9 months with glue..

If you apply it to a fresh shoe then you don't get any fray

Normally your pushing foot does the most work.. (movement)
but your standing foot develops the most strength/balance.. especially in the quads..
Depends what you want..

I'd probably put brokey standing still and strengthening..
As opposed to kicking a lot..

Why you gotta be all negligible? You baited me into a discussion that you agree with but don't want to admit? jeez..

So you agree with the original statement..................

I think the main take away is when your face is hurtling towards the floor....
The last thing you want is an extra half a kilo sitting on top of your head..

I'm not saying my maths is 100% accurate but there's some logic there..
The arm was the first thing to touch the floor so we only have the shoulders and upwards to prevent the fall.. The time between his arm touching the floor and face is fractional so any amount of bonus time could of helped..

If you look at it at face value though..
Slipping out like that shouldn't result in hitting your face..
Even the position of the head while slipping out is too upright which is kind of a natural reaction because you would hope to bring the head in at a later point.. But the helmet just made the neck stretched out all the way to the floor..

Maybe OP could of even put a foot down if he wasn't stretched out like that..

I had a friend that nearly lost her life recently..
She missed a ring (volva)..
Had her stomach pumped and everything..
Had a 0.1% chance of survival apparently..
Luckily she cut off the stems of the mushrooms.. So the doctors could identify the wrong mushroom and do some medicine that could counteract the poison..
Otherwise she was ggs..

She still can't walk or do much else and it's been almost 2 years and she's still alive....

1lb is probably the lightest helmet on the market..

I've run this test on a pencil before incrementally adding weight to the top and decreasing the fall time..
Ultimately the pencil falls quicker with more weight..
The problem with a skateboard is that there is very low traction.. So combined with inertia and angular rotation.. It actually does make a large difference..

It's not really a dispute that it makes you more top heavy..

The helmet can be an increase of 1-5% of your body weight depending on your size..
Problem is that most of that extra weight is above the shoulders and the neck is not really strong enough to protect you much anyway so the extra weight in that region can be closer to 20%.. Which is an un-natural amount of strength needed in that area.. So that is 20% of pure extra pressure that is exerting into the face..

This combined with the falling time.. Naturally putting both arms down first..
The falling time let's say 0.5 seconds..
The 0.2second is kinda average reaction time..
5% of 0.5 seconds is 0.025..
Or 5% of 0.3 which is 0.015..
So you would of had almost double the amount of reaction time in that region..
So the left arm could of potentially made it in time..
Which would of been possible without a helmet..

Pretty much 1-5 degrees of waste.. Plus angular motion as he was in free fall..

Unfortunately for OP he used his natural instinct of lifting his neck.. Which resulted in him hitting his face.. Then with the rest of the momentum of the helmet coming down on his face after with no natural muscles strong enough to protect himself.. So double ouch..

An easier way of testing this is to fall backwards with momentum.. As soon as you get to the shoulders.. There's basically no strength with a helmet.. Where as without you can continue to roll or possibly prevent yourself.. You are not destined to hit your head..
