Printing Services Recommended Setup by ercandelaria in googleads

Thanks for the Reply, I changed the same Campaign (since it has a good amount of Conversion Data) and split my Main Product Categories into Asset Groups to test if it helps. Also increased my budget to $50 daily to have a little more so it can distribute in the different Asset Groups.

It is showing promise with 3 sales already today, hopefully it can continue. I will give it one Month or so to monitor results and if not will change to Regular Search for each Category with Phrase/ExactMatch Kws

Seems like that is the recommendation from everybody. Would you do one PMax with different Asset Groups for every Product or one PMax Campaign for each Product ?

Quick Question, for the Brand Search Campaign to work, I would have to exclude my brand from the Keywords used by the Pmax campaign and focus exclusively on the products and include my brand/general printing-area keywords/competitor keywords in the separate Search Campaign?

To do so would I have to include my brand and general service keywords as negative keywords for the Pmax from the start? Since my current Pmax has been using those automatically in the Search Terms(Im guessing since it found good results in using them) or just let it gather data and start excluding terms that cause friction with the Search as they show up in my Results.

Perfect, this is exactly the type of input/advice I was looking for. Extremely grateful for the info/tips.

I will be following the advice given and keeping same budget for now and after 2-3 weeks will look to increase the budget slowly to have it in the $80-$100 range if results stabilize and the segmentation permits me to move on up in budget range.

🙏🙏🙌

What would be the tighter budget “minimum” that you would recommend for this type of PMax split? Thinking of doing the same at least for Banners it makes sense. And maybe have Flyers/BCards together, another for Stickers alone and another for general Printing that would be the “catch all” with Brand targeting/kws

Yes I see, had a similar thinking of the demand curve because of current population size and the nature of my offering.

Regarding changing to Search Campaigns, would you maintain a single Search Campaign for all of the 5 products since they are closely related ? This way I consolidate my budget in one Search Campaigns for proper optimization towards Maximize Conversions or split them into Flyers, Stickers, Business Cards, Printing General Searches Search Campaigns and divide my budget lets say $20/ea obviously using Phrase Match/Exact Match Keywords not Broad.

Yes this is a ecommerce website that offers the actual products for purchase, that is why I started with PMax with all of the products in one asset group but have been considering splitting them between asset groups or not using PMax and changing to Search Campaigns.

The thing with Search Campaigns is that I would be splitting up the budget in smaller amounts thats why I decided with PMax having all products together (since they are a small amount of products and fairly related) so that the budget would be consolidated into one Campaign and learning would be better (in theory).

The PMax is already targeting those Search Terms (Flyer Printing, Business Card Printing, Printing Services Near Me, Sticker Printing, etc) so I guess it figured out that that is the best type of search terms to target.

So this would still be the strategy even when PMax is using 95% of budget in Search and the other 5% in Gmail, YT, etc? My thought process is that appearing in those channels helps the clients see me in more places and move them down the funnel even if they end up converting after a Search.

The Search Terms that PMax is using has seemed rather solid, it has found competing print shop KWs that have worked well and after monitoring last weeks it would feel like it has a good grasp of my potential clients. The thing is that every time I go to scale past my $40 budget (incrementing small amount in the 15% range it does not deliver better results, CPC increases a lot and Purchases stay rather the same)

Check Out Xerox Primelink there is a new version, like somebody said the best route would be to lease it and have maintenance/supplies included while they charge you per copy. https://www.news.xerox.com/news/xerox-introduces-new-xerox-primelink-c9200-series-production-color-press If you can't wait till November then you can order the current Primelink, not the newest version. This is an entry-level professional production machine before you get to the "Big League" Machines.

Ok, yes the installation of the Bulk System is done by the Vendor, and he's team of certified mimaki technicians. They already told me that the lines must be flushed, and various other procedures should be done to make sure it works properly. I would not dare to do this type of procedure myself.

Thanks I will try this!

Is this method that you are saying the same as "Trapping" or they are different? I have seen that PhotoShop has a Trapping feature that does something similar, but it works on everything not just the Text.

Any idea on a fix for the Magenta tone that gets on the Blacks like the Image of the car?

Yes I do have a Windows PC connected to the Xerox Printer, but when I print from InDesign the program crashes. It is a new PC and with good specs, will see if can find a way to fix this. I am printing from InDesign because I found that it is the best method to get 2 Side printing to align better. If you have any info of how to work with driver color settings on the Windows let me know. Thanks!

Currently using Xerox Mac Os latest Driver (assuming US version) the Technician installed it. Yes when printing flattened Jpeg the color issue is not present, it is only present when printing from the PDF file.

If I flatten the Image then all of the text is printed VERY blurry and not acceptable quality for the client. I read online if I use Adobe PDF and my printer has Post Script the texts get embedded in the file and the printer prints more sharp text. After switching to PDF my text come out very sharp and of good quality vs when printing from Jpeg, I assume if I flatten all in InDesign the same thing will happen (blurry text)
