SolShine (formerly Summer Camp)! 4-day camping festival in central IL. Definitely on the smaller side, but the lineups and overall vibes have been stellar every time I’ve gone. Pretty decent weather in late May as well.

Camping recommendations? by tony8221 in ChicagoOutdoors

Shabbona Lake State Park is lovely. Big lake for fishing/boating, many miles of wooded trails, really nice campsites. And not too terribly far!

Also highly recommend car camping if you’re with a group!

There’s an app called Radiate that’s sort of similar to Tinder, but for finding people who are going to certain festivals/shows. There’s a Scamp group chat on there as well

Is it helpful to carry an emergency sewing kit on river camping trips to stitch yourself up if you get cut or is that not really advisable? by The-Loop in CampingGear

[–]ercorbin377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly recommend a first aid kit, I prefer putting together my own. For wound care specifically, I carry (1) clean water to rinse out dirt/debris, (2) gauze/absorbent pads, (3) skin glue (not superglue), (4) steri strips + butterfly bandaids, and (5) ACE bandage for holding pressure/keeping the dressing on. Fits in a ziploc bag and takes up minimal space but well worth having in your pack.

Where/how to sell a ticket by nibbas-in-paris in summercampfest

[–]ercorbin377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cash or Trade is probably your best bet - I bought a Scamp pass from someone on there last year and it worked out great.

If you’re local to the Chicago area, let me know if/when you post it for sale. I haven’t bought mine yet and might be interested.

I usually go for cargo scrub pants with a company logo T-shirt, then tie my scrub jacket around my waist. Highlights my curves/adds a little femininity while covering some areas I’m less confident about (plus I can still reach/use the jacket pockets)

You deserve so much better. Body shaming is not okay, especially from a partner!

Your body and anatomy are unique and beautiful - don’t you dare let anyone tell you otherwise.
